Had a fantastic lunch. I had the open chicken Kiev and my husband got the schnitzel. I am gluten free so no crumbs just chicken breast cooked to perfection and the broccoli was just right with a slight crunch. Loved the mustard sauce. Would highly recommend.

Staff were a little rude to begin with.Personally meals were overpriced for the serving sizes.In the end the food was absolutely delicious and amazing. Just a bit pricey as I said. Thanks to the bar staff for being so polite. Veggies and shnitty’s were melting in our mouths and very happy with all the food!

I love your pub, the only disappointment was, I wanted the Pork Belly bites with Waldorf Salad, but it was no longer available, even though it is still on your website. Ordered the Pork with rhubarb, still nice. Please update your website.

Arrived (very) late for lunch, to find the kitchen was closed… (our fault).However we were offered wood-fired pizza’s by very helpful and thoughtful staff.Food service was terrific and the upgrades to this old hotel made the visit not only pleasant (great noise suppression, wonderful natural timber tables, good seating/layout), but also very interesting with the reflection to history embedded with the decor and the build.

This pub was great when they revamped it, looks good still but obviously understaffed on the weekends. Took ages to get service.The meals have gone down hill too.Schnitzel was dumped on top of salad and chips, parmy topping was a mess of Jared pasta sauce and a load of cheese dumped on top.Salad was greasy cooked mess under the snitzel, soggy greasy chips too.My partner has the fish and chips, heavy batter greasy and the second fillet tasted and smelled off.Who puts generic packet salad under a schnitzel to cook? Not even a slice of tomato, just lettuce, onion and some grated carrot.

Absolutely brilliant afternoon/evening. 45 people fed within half an hour good job.Only minor complaint, seating for 36 not 45 when we arrived.whole group was not together, but overall GREAT! Staff friendly and efficient. Thank you
