Spent $40 for a handful of chips, two nz fillets, 4 calamari rings and 2 potato scallops. Now I’m understanding with the price increases and cost of living but the chips were undercooked, The fish fillets were half frozen and had more batter than fish and the scallops tasted like they’ve been in storage for I don’t know how long. The only thing that wasn’t disappointing were the bottled drinks :/ definitely better off going somewhere else

Public holiday so of course a surcharge was applied to everything which is to be expected. What was not expected was portion size, the wait time and the overall value of the experience. Fish cocktail for $4 was over cooked and tiny. $10 chips didn’t even feed 2 of us with the adults simply leaving the food for the two kids (under 9) Spent over $30 and considering that was mostly on chips, it wasn’t even nearly enough.

Chips are a decent serve for the $10 option. Grilled snapper was well seasoned and tasty. Staff were friendly and service was speedy for a Sunday dinner time.

Don't waste your money, the worst fish and chips you will ever get.Oil is not changed, leaving food with a disgusting taste.Value for money, Not! Got $15 worth of chips and the serving size was disgraceful.Since the new owners it's gone down hill fast.Off to find a better fish n chip shop, you have lost us.

Ordered burger with the lot minus egg. They left the egg on. Twice told the girl that I wanted tomato sauce with the nuggets and when after a long wait it arrived there was no tomato sauce. Asked for tomato sauce and was nonchalantly told it wasn’t on the order. At which point I just left and got tomato sauce at home. Fish was thin and dry and obviously from frozen and overcooked. Chips were cold. So many good choices on the peninsula, including just a 50 metres up the road, don’t bother with this place.

Decent fish and chips. We ordered the cod (which was nice and flaky with a light crumb), chips and a potato scallop each. The portion was generous, and we particularly appreciated the tray it was served on for takeaway. I probably wouldn't eat in though, as whilst the outdoor tables have an view of the water, the restaurant seating area was a bit tired and grubby - classic takeaway shop, but not really a place I'd want to sit to eat. We happily took ours across the road to the park benches. We'd happily eat here again.

Had the shell fish basket, paid for with works credit card... Even tho it was free it was pretty average..batter is very heavy and there's nothing fresh here...bland and oily ,Sorry wouldn't return or recommend

Probably the worst f & chips I've ever had.The battered fish was soggy, the chips were tough (never had tough chips before) and the calamari was like really weird... I should have taken better notice of the fish in display cabinet before I ordered. Won't visit here again

Best Cod ever!! Loved the crunchy chips with chicken salt. The Cod was wonderful and greatly served with slice of lemon. Next to the beach great view and relaxing spot. I also ordered medium cappuccino, my mum loved it! Great experience,Will return again! :)

Worst fish and chip shop I’ve ever been to. There was no fish, just batter.. and the amount of salt that was put on was disgusting. The calamari wasn’t cooked enough however the potato scallops were over cooked. Considering we spent $40 hoping to get some nice fish and chips near the beach, we were left incredibly disappointed. Do not go here!
