Worst Indian I have ever had. Ordered a chicken Korma, chicken biriyani and all we could taste was chilli. Korma is meant to be a mild curry however it was all too spicy to eat. Both dishes were tasteless, no fragrant spices and was way to hot. Unfortunately unable to eat so had to bin it. :-(

Lovely family run Indian restaurant. Food that came out was fresh and the naan was perfect, not too fluffy and doughy (more on the crispy side). Can't fault the authenticity of the place for some homely filling food. Don't let the decor dictate your choice, give it a go you won't be disappointed!

Pretty mixed experience from our group here. Taste wise some curries ranged from fairly good to bad, dhal Makani in particular was bad. Avoid if you have low spice tolerance. Meals were totally random on spice levels, one dish marked as spicy had none, the butter chicken was not marked spicy but was inedible for some.

Holy cow this place is incredible! I'm American and my wife is Indian. We also have two fairly picky daughters. We were on vacation and they were craving Indian food after a day snorkeling the reef. We found this place on our trusty Yelp app and SOOOOOOOO GLAD we did. The food is fresh! The flavor perfect! And the quality of the service is exceptional because this is a true mom and pop" shop. If you like Indian then this is the place to go."

Yellow rice was one of the best I've had. But my beef vindaloo didn't really taste like the usual vindaloo i have, taste was pretty different and all i can taste was the spiciness and i do like spicy food but this was just all spiciness i could taste no vindaloo flavour. And the beef meat texture is more like silverside than actual beef so that was pretty strange.

The worst chicken buriyani we have ever had. We ordered a medium hot buriyani and got a extreme red hot rice. Literally it is a chilli rice you cannot eat. Moreover the owner was rude and did not admit the mistake they made. It was totally a waste of money and very bad customer service...I would rather give no star rating, but the review system doesn't allow to do so...

Sabis kitchen may not be much to look at but she makes amazing Indian food. Don't hesitate to visit multiple times and get everything on the menu. Food portions are just right, flavours are amazing and service is quick and impeccable. I highly recommend and would visit again and again and again.

We were in Cairns for a holiday and as usual looking for traditional Indian food. Every time we walked past this restaurant it was busy with locals and tourists and we were keen to try it out this lovely family owned restaurant. The food was fresh and very delicous. The lady who was taking the order and looking after the restaurant gave us different choices and even suggested mild curries for the kids. The service was exceptional. We ordered Palak Paneer, dal makhani, garlic bread and butter milk. All the items ordered were made to perfection with the north indian touch. The ambience was ok but food surely compensated for the ambience. I would highly recommend locals and tourists to try out this lovely place in Port Douglas.

Really enjoyed our food. Pakora followed by a chicken dish and a beef dish. Alldelicious and piping hot. This is a cafe style/outside tables restaurant but we received excellent quick service. A great find. It’s also BYO which is a bonus. Thanks for a fab dinner.

Ordered medium Butter paneer, Dal fry and vegetarian biryani. Presentation wise, very liquidy..watery dal fry. Taste was nice. Biryani tasted more like fried rice.
