I booked a full body wax, FULL body wax means a full body wax! But not so at Manhor, it seems that Manhor has its own meaning of the word full. Ears, nose and crouch are not part of the body according to Manhor, I still have hairs on my chest. NOT happy!!!As it was a cold day I would suggest that a heater in the in the room wouldn't go amiss as I was shivering with the cold.

My first experience with Mankind was after a friend gave me a voucher for my birthday. After my gorgeous facial I decided to give the barber a go. I had recently had some terrible experiences with other barber shops, so I was apprehensive but I was on cloud 9 after the facial and the vibe was great. Laura is a miracle worker! She listened to what I wanted and made some great suggestions. I felt amazing and the compliments came flooding in! I have now been seeing Laura for 2 years with no plan on stopping!!!

Got home after having my hair cut by Bella to be told by my partner that it's the best one I've had in the 5 years she's known me!I think that says it all.As an aside, I also found the atmosphere inside nice a relaxing compared with the usual hustle and bustle of barber shops.

My post-lockdown visit to Manhor involved waxing and a much needed haircut.Zoe did the waxing and she is meticulous. She gave me a hand mirror to use a couple of times and worked with me to make sure her work was in line with what I wanted. It was clear she is dedicated to her work and making sure the customer is completely satisfied. Thank you, Zoe!The haircut with Gita was also a good experience. I'd done a do-it-yourself clipper job and my damage needed repair! Gita was also thorough and I was happy with the final result.Overall, Manhor under new management was great! I'll be back.
