As a couple who have never stored furniture in the past, can’t fault this company in any way. Initially our house possessions were collected and stored at no extra charge. The modern storage area was clean with no sign whatsoever of dampness or any other issues. After 9 months our items were delivered to our new address in Geelong at a very reasonable price. No breakages, and all the furniture was surprisingly clean and in excellent condition.A pleasure to deal with owners and staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending ‘store it’’.An exceptional experience from start to finish.

Owners are always available to help out moving your stuff, always polite, never hassle you if your late on payment as long as you explain and catch up asap, nice clean facility!

In my personal opinion/experience - stay well away, they lure you in by being nice & helpful at the start and it then turns into a nightmare.The Operations and Marketing Manager is absolutely horrible to deal.They make up their rules, doesn't matter what a contract and calculating daily rates says.Lock you out when they feel like it, even when you are fully paid up. We copped weeks of not being able to access our units for various reasons.Took 10 days to respond to an email.Also units are not built correctly and are not sealed from the elements and vermin. One of the walls not fully sealed from the elements can see daylight and we found mouse droppings in this unit as well.Dodgy & horrible best describes our experience.

We lost our house in a fire and needed storage urgently. Cybele was so helpful in securing a space for us so quickly, opening after hours for us and helping us unpack our truck. Super friendly and easy to deal with. Thank you so much for making an awful time bearable and less stressful

I have used Stor-it Ballarat a number of times. Each time my items come back perfect. The management team are always friendly and contactable and they go out of there way to help. Thankyou for making each storage experience stress-free. I highly recommend this business.

Absolute rubbish of a place. The owner Cybile and her husband are lovely and helpful when you ring them in tears because you need to move everything you own ASAP. The key fob that is MEANT to give you access to the front gate doesnt even work, you need to wait for them to come down and let you in. In my contract it stated you needed to give 7 days notice when vacating. I removed everything on a Saturday, told them I was vacating for them to tell me it was now 30 days notice. When I pulled up every single email I have from them saying I never received an updated contract, they laughed in my face and gave me the 7 days. 3 WEEKS later I was still charged, lucky me made sure that account was empty because I knew they would try something like this. Once I received that invoice, I tried to ring them, no answer, tried again and left a voicemail, they rang me back only to hang up once I'd answered and then proceeded to send me a text message saying it was an accident. NEVER USE THIS STORAGE UNIT SPACE. Save your time and money, find a local business that actually care about their customers. Not sure how this place is still even open.

I recently moved to Ballarat and had to store my things until I found a place to live. Stor-It Ballarat was fantastic. Always helpful with any request and the facility is clean and secure. Defiantly recommend if you want friendly service and good value for money.

Not recommended - no integrity.Offered free pickup and free delivery to help us out with the storage of heavy items. We asked them for delivery of the items over weeks and weeks and then they turned ugly and forced us to pick the items up ourselves within a couple of days or get heavily charged for delivery and handling. There was something going on behind the scenes which is not a good sign...Never again.

Cybele and the team at Stor-it went out of their way to ensure our move went smoothly. They provided loan boxes, arranged for our items to be picked up and stored and then delivered them back to us ready for our final move. Their facility is very secure and well maintained, no spiders or dusty old sheds. Great customer service and I highly recommend them.
