Worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic in 20 plus years. Poor workmanship. Poor service. Overcharged for shoddy work which resulted in further vehicle issues. Would advise strongly against using their services.

Was booked in for a service and called the morning off to confirm time and when I got there was told my car is not booked in today and they can’t fit me in. Very poor service.

I brought a 2012 C200 Merc two years ago. I took it to Neil to have an inspection conducted even though the genuine dealer assured me their check would be thorough. It was not. Neil identified some issues which should be rectified and I went back to the genuine dealer. I had my last warranty service with the genuine dealer, and it also had a couple of issues which I believed should be covered under warranty, they where not. The drivers side inside door handle broke, and the genuine dealer quoted me $2700.00 to repair this as they told me they had to replace the entire inside door panel. They did not need to do this, they just advised this had to happen, they also quoted me $800.00 to replace a feed pipe to the turbo and some other things. When I asked them how much to service the brakes, they could not give me a quote, they advised it would be above $800.00. Neil provided me two quote scenarios using genuine Mercedes parts, as I asked for Mercedes parts. I had a firm price. The genuine dealer quoted me $1200 to service the gear box, whereas Neil quoted and charged me $370.00 for the service. I naturally went to Neil as I have been using his services and his father, Leo before him for about 11 years since we moved to Wellington Point. Neil also services our 2003 Holden Rodeo Ute, which runs like it is new. Neil serviced the automatic, repaired the door handle and the broken feed pipe and a few other things I was not charged over $3500, he charged me a lot less and the car has run beautifully as we have driven to Melbourne for Christmas. I am a huge believer in supporting local business, and Neil and his team are the perfect example of them supporting us back. I highly recommend if you are going to a dealer because they tell you only they can service your vehicle properly, you give these guys a try. You wont be disappointed. Because his team service the Mercedes Ambulances, they know the vehicles, and parts and can find an inexpensive solution where the genuine dealer could or simply would not. just picked my car up, $185 to replace the thermostat housing hose which included coolant but they never put any in. greasy hand marks all over the front of the bonnet. not very happy, coolant bottle was down to the brim. i was advised not to go there, i should’ve listened. very unhappy with their service. despite that, they were very lovely and polite.
