After a long day of travel and not much to eat we were scouring the internet for somewhere closeby that offered Chinese food. As an English person I am completely aware that our standards of this are somewhat confused, but the way we have it is delicious and I was really hoping to find something that came close!We found this place and it seemed to have the best reviews out of a pretty bad bunch. We thought we’d give it a go anyway. We had some chicken spring rolls to start and then a honey chicken portion, egg fried rice & a chowmein. The honey chicken was decent. There was plenty of it and it satisfied my craving for MSG and fat. On the other hand, the chowmein was very bog standard. Something you’d whip up at home with what was left in the fridge. The portion was big but it was rather tasteless so unfortunately portion size did not matter. The spring rolls were average - little filling and a great deal of pastry. The egg fried rice was in fact egg fried rice.The bill just fell short of 60 dollars which we found to be rather pricey for something so average and without a drink included. The menu was also very limited. Only a page or two of options which is usually uncommon for a Chinese. Salt and pepper chips (though not authentic) would NOT go a miss when they’re serving sticky prawn and chicken options.It’s also BYO. We nipped 5 minutes down the road to grab some beers mid-meal so be prepared for that if you’re planning on getting on the booze.Basically, wouldn’t write home about this place but the honey chicken did it’s job. Wouldn’t return unfortunately!

We had a fabulous time at Tang Dynasty!! The food is amazing -- delicious homemade dumplings, dim sims, spring rolls and sweet and sour pork were among our highlights!! We definitely recommend it for authentic Chinese food and a family-friendly atmosphere!! The owners are lovely and so welcoming ♥

Very handy, only a block away from our resort unit on the Mooloolaba Esplanade. Extensive menu, plenty of options, pleasant staff, plenty of parking if needed, wheelchair accessible. Loved the food.

Best Chinese restaurant ever! Beautiful friendly staff. High quality food. Best prices! Especially the beef on the hot chili oil as well as pork ribs on sweet & sour sauce very amazing flavor, nowhere else on the coast any had! Would not go anywhere else!

We came for takeaway and ordered the vegetable dumplings, spicy kung pao chicken and vegetarian fried rice. Vegetable dumplings are the exact same frozen ones you can get from coles, which are good but I would have expected homemade. The spicy kung pao chicken had no spice and cooked cucumber which didn't suit the dish in my opinion, and the fried rice had no flavour and tasted like it was a few days old. Unfortunate experience as the staff were super lovely.

Fantastic Chinese restaurant in a great location. The entrees dishes were the highlight but the main meals were delicious too. All served with a smile by wonderful staff. Highly recommended.

Absolute rip off.Pork was tough and there wasn’t too much of it in the dish I ordered.Chicken and sweet corn soup is a total rip off… half a small container full for close to $15The flavour of the soup and dumplings were ok otherwise this would have been a one star review.

Tasted gross….Oily! the noodle was undercooked and stiff! Didn’t use fresh noodle for Char kway teow.There were only 3 pieces of meat in the beef noodle.
