Zoey Nails

Very disappointed with the services, I had Acrylic infills. I was trying the salon for the first time. Several times I had to tell her it hurt when she was filling, which she did apologies for. She completed the service. As I got home I notice she had missed polishing the lower part of the nail. I contacted the salon straight away, not knowing the previous owners had change hands, they directed me to the new owner. I sent photos of the work and she agreed for me to come in to be fixed. I arrived at the salon to be approached from the lady who did the work previously and she was very angry (not speaking english) but clearly disagreeing with the issue. I was trying to speak to the lady that spoke english however being spoken over to by the lady who was disagreeing. I felt so uncomfortable that I didn’t stay and told them I was so disappointed with how they have made me feel, considering I was only asking for it to be fixed as the photos I sent them when they agreed for me to come in. Very disappointed, I will not be going back.

I feel that this place has received too many negative comments. I walked in without an appointment and was seen straight away. Ladies were nice, friendly and polite. Had shellac removal and new colour. Service was quick, nails look great and reasonably priced. I’ll be going back.

Very very bad I’ve been to a lot of nail salons all over Sydney and this one is the worst. The way she applied the acrylic was so bad the acrylic was thin and runny! My shellac nail polish was streaky and my nails were so thin they came off the next day. They also lie about price. I asked how much before I started and she said $55 then at the counter when it’s time to pay she said $75. And act like they are doing you a favour by giving you a “discount” if you pay cash? Places like this should be closed down this is Australia and it’s unacceptable.

One star is too many for this business who have recently taken over. Had the most horrible experience yesterday and while my pedicure is disgraceful because the 3 different people who kept chopping and changing clearly didn’t know what they were doing with the shellac, the service/attitude from the staff and management was absolutely horrendous when I raised my concerns that the colour was bubbling. One lady told the man to tell me he doesn’t speak English, another lady stood in front of the door as if I was some runaway and they were yelling and shouting because I told them I couldn’t come back another day for it to be fixed. Horrible experience, horrible service. Would absolutely NOT recommend to anyone.

Horrible experience getting my nails done with acrylics and shellac. Just to do the acrylics part took 1.5 hrs and they were a mess, crooked and out if shape( that was with 100% attention and not walking away servicing other clients). I ran out of time to to get shellac done but to be honest I didn't want them to finish my nails, I still had to pay $60.They were rude back to me when I said that I wasn't happy with the work they had done.Really disappointing

The first time I went with the new management was the lady who did my pedi did a full service and did a good massage with no rush. But the second time I went, I felt that my pedi was very rushed. She did not even even gave me a massage. For the amount that I paid I expect good and complete service. I have been with the previous owners for nearly 8 years and it was a very good experience.

I had been going to Sexy Nails for years before Zoey nails took over so I had high expectationsThe pros:- There are more staff working at one time and- They have are additional colour selections.- Prices remain the same (I think).The cons- It has a completely different feel, it doesn’t seem as hygienic or organised as sexy nails was.- All but one original staff member’s remain.- I had a pedicure which was good besides the painting but I also had SNS which was so far from the cuticle, the next day it already looked 5 days to a week old. It also started breaking and chipping which doesn’t usually happen with SNS.I will give them another go

Will never go back. Had leg wax, eyebrow wax and bikini wax. Half the wax still left on my vajayjay! She said it was new wax, I just don’t think she could do it properly! I would rather have a pap smear with razor blades than go back. They should have kept Thuy on when they took over she knew what she was doing!

So glad that I tried this place for the first time today. I requested white nails with pink chrome and they delivered! The service is great and the ladies are nice and friendly. You can tell they’re genuine and hard working people. Will definitely be back soon.
