SCAM. Only google reference I could find for the business Pick and Lock is this one (CBD Locksmith?) with the same number. Website testimonials cannot be traced back to any reviews, and weirdly include photos and ages. Why would they have people's photos and ages? Reverse image search links back to B grade movie stars. Website says callout within 15 minutes and fee from $29 which is of course ridiculous. Took over an hour wait. Refused to quote a price or range and after I was desperate to get back into my home, phone flat having waited forever, chased them up by phone and was told changed technician coming soon, they turned up without any uniform, marked car, proof of qualification, and said it was an additional $300 for a 5 minute emergency lock unpick on a weekday, within business hours - I've paid less than this on a Sunday). Guy was clearly an international backpacker. Proceeded to drill my lock which I anticipate will soon need replacing now. Registered business name links back to 5/29 Nepean Highway (a tiny brick residential flat) and business name has only been registered since late 2022. Additionally the 'technician' said the eftpos machine wasn't working so I had to pay via bank transfer, therefore voiding any option to get a charge back for their dodgy misrepresented service and fees by my bank. Would not trust. No evidence of registration/any professional accreditation. Could have easily been scoping places to break into in addition to charging well beyond fee advertised to vulnerable people in a desperate time. Will be reporting and changing my locks.

The service is excellent!!! I went out to hang out and lost my key. I only noticed it when I got to the apartment, so I searched on Google for locksmith and within 20 minutes Ellie came to my house and Open my front door , it was amazing

Needed a locksmith to let us in after getting locked out. This place was advertising the lowest call out and service fees in Melbourne, we called them for a more specific quote but instead of calling us back with a quote they immediately dispatched a locksmith who called us saying they were on the way. They came quite quickly in about 30 mins, the locksmith was friendly and efficiently completed the job in a minute or so. The locksmith informed us on the spot it would be $260 for a regular single lock that was picked in a minute (on top of the $29 callout fee), plus $120 for a holiday and/or weekend surcharge. All up the total paid was $449. This was an exorbitant fee, even considering it being a Saturday early afternoon and not an actual public holiday. We called the service to confirm that we were not mischarged and the dispatch people have no idea about the service fees, allegedly the locksmiths can charge whatever they want on the spot and there is zero accountability for the rates/costs, no invoice is provided and the verbal fee breakdown is unclear. The lock was not particularly complicated so even the base rate alone is enormous compared to similar services, despite their website claiming 100% guarantee on lowest prices in the area.

Have to call them around 9.30pm on a Sunday night.He was very helpful, friendly and proactive, I m not sure of the charges high or reasonable as mine was emergency fixture. However they issued me a detailed invoice with the fault to submit to my landlord. Highly recommend their service !!!!

If it were not for Elijah, I would have been spending the night on the street. I left my keys on a train, and had absolutely zero idea what to do, Elijah was so quick, so helpful and couldn't have been more kind when arriving for the job.Not only WOULD I recommend Elijah and the CBD locksmiths to anyone who sees this, I WILL be personally handing the number out to every single one of my friends if they are ever in trouble. I have zero plans to ever call a different locksmith because I know I will have my needs met with this team.
