Grew up here for a period of time in my life in Cawley close with a back reserve to Bullwinke loved it. The old pools are heritage & interesting. Miss it alot. I now live in Newcastle.

Well it's aiite, just a park, well that's the initial thought, but then it comes alive with the waterful suttely coarsing down the creek, with the charm of the old trees, bloody tranquil, a picnic basket wouldn't go astray, amenities it has aswell including toilets for both genders, clean suprisingly, also accomadating for the littlies with an upkept playground, oh and an undercover area for those occasions you don't want to have at home as it's much easier and less mess if you will, oh and lastly the cemented walk through from Alstonville to woolongbar is quite the treat so yeah all is good!!!!!

Nice place to sit and eat lunch. Walk across the bridge and maybe yoyll be lucky to see one of the platypuses that call the creek home.
