We were a bit of a regular pre-lockdown, now very excited about the updated menu and drinks list. The dusty burger has always been the boyfriend’s fav.Good deck area.

Local pub feel, with a lovely back deck overlooking Gladesville, Parramatta River, and all the way to Breakfast Point. Ambience is relaxing on the back deck and not excessively noisy, so people can still have comfortable conversations. Food enjoyment, preparation and taste was a little inconsistent as also referenced in other reviews. Their Rump steak (with Diane sauce), veggies, mash and chips were enjoyable - except when asked for medium rare, both rump steak orders came out medium/well done - seems like a repeated problems based on previous reviews. Chefs should recalibrate how they cook their steaks for this classic pub meal(!). Thier Beetroot and pumpkin salad was not enjoyable unfortunately. The salad was tired, wilted and was like a salad bag from Woolies that has been sitting out for awhile. The bacon in the salad was dry and tough, and the grilled chicken was also dry and tough, despite being chargrilled. Would be better for them not serve it on the menu, it takes away from the overall menu experience. Perhaps just focus on a few dishes and do them well. For reference, there is a car park behind the hotel with a back entrance which is very convenient. Overall, enjoyed the relaxing early Saturday night dinner but hopefully the kitchen can improve its menu execution significantly as it is letting down the overall efforts of this local pub feel. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit on a nice day, to support the venue and keep it going within the community. It has potential to keep growing.

Nice view and vibe on the balcony. Food was hit and miss. The Schnitzel was good, pork ribs were nice but crazy small, the Lamb souvlaki plate wasn't even Lamb they brought out chicken, and the kids fish and chips was just weird. Overall this pub is alright for a casual drink, but for a meal...meh...

I took my wife for a nice lunch. She couldn’t eat her pumpkin and beetroot salad as it was dry and tasteless. My medium rare rump was well done and ver salty. The prices and menu on their website is totally different to the one at the hotel. Why?As a google poster I honestly would give no stars at all. They need to pull up their socks a lot if they wish to compete. And if they see this and tell me to do better, yes i can most definitely, but, I would never work in a place like this.Ever.Thank you.

Food was below average. Hamburger bun was super dry, steak requested well done - came out black charred with parts unable to be eaten. Chicken schnitzel was a large serving but the gravy was not very nice.Great outdoor area out the back with a good view. Probably won’t come back.

I had a great experience here!! Will definitely come back!Friendly staff, cold beer and really cool place. My partner and I had the calamari portion and the arancini balls to share. We arrived and the kitchen was going to close in 1 minute, but they still served us with great quality!!Thanks and all the best!

Been a few times now since it re-opened. Meals are nice, reasonable prices for food and drinks, lightly renovated from its previous life, never many people, the outdoor area is a nice spot to sit. Plenty of parking out the back too.

To be honest, I am rather heartbroken over what they have done. The entire place is either a pokie room, or a tab, or another abomination of a pokie room. They ruined it. I had my first beers here. I miss the sporting memorabilia, pool tables and all the things that make a pub a pub. Sydney is broken. Its all pokies. I wouldn't even eat there because of it. The place used to be fun.
