Great food and excellent customer service! We were sat outside (which they told us on the phone when booking) and they were very attentive to us and the food was excellent.

Geonbae Korean BBQ Restaurant
We were a group of 12 so we had to have one of the banquets, apart from myself who is Vegetarian. I wasn’t expecting many choices but was pleasantly surprised and ordered vegetable dumplings, a sizzling plate of sweet corn and cheese and a vegetable stir fry with noodles. I also shared a little of the vegetable pancake that was part of the banquet,all were very yummy. We also ordered as an extra two of the Korean Fried Chicken plates which came out pulled high with very delicious chicken ( so they tell me) the fried chicken was definitely a favourite among the rest of the tables.Service was great, very friendly and they were full so extremely busy. Think this will be a new regular haunt.

The Korean chef did a good job of letting us enjoy a copious Korean BBQ, we were unable to finish everything given the size of the starters we had (except the prawns, we got only 3 of them, for a pretty high price).The restaurant was empty when we came, except for a waitress and an Asian male employee who was busy with his phone during all of the time we were (was he busy taking reservations, for a place that is apparently empty most of the time?). Service was given, but not overly friendly.Maybe they’d have more business if they cleaned the windows, and worked on the quality of their service?

I had lunch at this restaurant, the food is very good to try and I really enjoyed the tofu salad. I would definitely come back to eat.

We have been there a few times now, and always amazing. Just let them select a range of food as they know what's best!!! Their shared meals, with amazing starters and a fantastic selection of meats barbequed at your table are to die for. Be careful with the drinks there are some particularly powerful cocktails (especially Soju) which is very deceptive with the fruits, but packs a wallop!!! Great entertainment for any size group of friends!!!

We had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, freshly made and served quickly. The staff was very friendly, attentive and everyone was willing to cater or help for any wishes we had. We had a great time while dining out and the atmosphere was very inviting. Wish I could give more stars!

Very poor service, communication issues. We got our table at 8:30 ordered some nibbles and we clearly told waiter that will order main soon. At 9:00 we said let’s order main and was told kitchen is closed. No one told us about kitchen closing time etc. in fact on arrival we were told to order drinks and enjoy ourselves. We literally run to maccas next door after our dinner. Plus didn’t even get things the way we ordered. Only one dish came when we ordered two etc. food was delicious but service was so bad.

My husband and I went there for early dinner. The staff were lovely, very friendly. The food was awesome. We had the $79PP set menu and it was well worth the money. Definitely shall visit again. Great atmosphere.

Good everything, the staff was very lovely and helpful; the food fresh and flavourful, in our order we included plain pork (sadly) but next time we'll order something different; the beef and veggies great, the ambient romantic I would say, we are definitely going back

Made a booking for 2 on a Saturday - 7pm. I booked a couple days in advance. On the night it wasn’t too busy, but starting to pick up with customers and groups.It’s a little more on the expensive side when it comes to KBBQ but you’ll definitely get full! We ordered the set menu - variety set. For starters we selected the chicken mahn doo and spicy tteokbokki. For BBQ we picked the Ganjang Samgyupsal and the Beef Bulgogi. We also ordered a side of corn cheese. We took the fried chicken (part of the set menu) for takeaway as we were just so full!The mahn doo were fried to perfection - crunchy and crispy. The spicy tteokbokki definitely packed a punch but was a great side dish - filling as it’s rice cake. The meats we selected were marinated well. Flavourful. We opted to cook them ourselves and the bbq top heated up pretty quickly compared to some other places we’ve been to - especially when it’s not using coals. Corn cheese was great - not watery/milky in any way and good to share between 2.It took a while for things to start coming out but once it did, we got full so quickly. Staff were really friendly. Able to accommodate our requests.Overall it was a good evening. There aren’t many KBBQ places around me so it’s nice to know we can go to Geonbae which isn’t too far away. I’ll be back to try their Soju Cocktails!
