S-kin Studio Jewelry

I recently attended the jewelry workshop and it was such a beautiful experience in a stunning space. We were able to create charms for a pair of earings and a necklace. Each piece is gold filled to ensure its longevity. The Workshop was guided expertly and with such care, Isa was clear and helped us with any technical difficulties we were having. My friend and I were very happy with our creations and I haven't stopped wearing my pieces :)

I ordered the gilded heart necklace and after a few wears in the shower it started to turn my neck green/grey. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new chain however the new one still does the same thing. I’m very disappointed as it’s “9K gold filled” and other gold filled necklaces I’ve bought elsewhere have never done this. I also bought the bella twist huggie hoops and my ears have been very red and itchy since wearing them, and I don’t typically have sensitive ears. Sadly I won’t be buying from this store again.

Just received my first order from them today! The pieces are so cute and stunning, and the website and shipping were all easy and fast. Would 100% recommend to friends and family. Will definitely be purchasing from them again :)

My friend bought me a few earrings for my birthday but they tarnished after a week and gave my ear an infection.After a few weeks, I changed them out to different company’s earrings and they actually healed, and when I put back S-kin’s stuff on it became really red and painful again. This was with their gold filled and solid gold pieces.

I visited the Richmond store over a year ago and purchased a gold figaro dainty chain. The chain has held up better thanany other necklace I own! I have slept in it, showered, swam in the ocean and it hasn’t tarnished at all. It is still as shiny as when I first purchased it. I also love that you can wear the chain on its own or with pendants. I recall the girls in store being extremely helpful when I was trying to make my decision on which chain to go with .If you are thinking about visiting, do it!

Definitely NOT sensitive skin friendly as they claim and advertise. I’ve had such a bad experience - we were so excited to support a small Melbourne business but when we received our items and tried them on, within a few days, my sister and I had the worst allergic reaction ever. Our lymph nodes were swollen for weeks like never before. We tried to give these products the benefit of the doubt and tried the earrings again after our ear lobes healed up, which we had to consistently use steroid cream for, but the same thing happened. Which is a true shame as these products really are beautiful. Definitely don’t recommend for people who have sensitive skin.

I got a pair of earrings with pearls in the middle as a birthday gift. Have only worn it a handful of times and have never even slept with them on (can count on one hand the number of times I have worn them) and the pearl has fallen out and I can’t even super glue them back! Supposed to be quality jewellery but I honestly would not recommend wasting your money here. Not worth it at all. Did contact them to get help but they said it’s out of warranty.

I had bought 8 pieces in total for my sister and i last Christmas. At first, I was incredibly excited because they are so beautiful and are advertised to be ‘skin friendly’ and ‘high quality every day jewelry that does not hurt your skin’. After wearing the earrings, my sister’s ears had become red and swollen, with pus leaking out from the piercing, and her lymph nodes began to swell and continued to get bigger and she could no longer wear the earrings from s-kin studio. My ears also had a similar reaction however I did not want to let them go to waste because I spent so much money and they’re so beautiful, so I kept them in for months hoping that it would heal. First, my traguses got infected. They became so swollen and thick that the backing of the earring was inside my ear. It was so painful to take out and I didn’t want my traguses to heal over so I put my old earrings back in and they recovered perfectly fine. i had still kept 4 more of my lobe earrings that I bought because I was hoping that the infection wouldn’t get too bad there but they did. I don’t recommend this store for those with sensitive skin.

Poor experience!Had my forward helix pierced in November 2022 at the market day. Have constantly had bad headaches and got sick due to a poorly pierced piercing. After months of dealing with a badly pierced earring, I have had multiple piercers look at it, was told that the angle of piercing was done incorrectly as well as the gauge size used of earring not correct and was too heavy. Was poorly informed about the earring type to be used on forward helix. Even after reporting about my helix issue to the owner after a couple weeks of having the piercing she was not very educated about the situation which you expect a jewellery company to be!Update - just had the piercing taken out successfully by a specialised earring studio. Will never pierce with S-kin studio ever again!
