Youll either love it or hate it. quirky and quintessential Australian, just not in a tourist way.

The dam is full of blue green algy ,some of the coin showers dont work,just nothing for kids to do.no fish exist,boat ramps are make your own.just a lack of maintenance ..

Good for a fishing trip

Not suitable for a dog. Paid $44 for a site then had to pay for hot water in bathrooms. Can't use pool. If you dont have 4x4 dont go not suitable for caravans 4x4 dirt .can't drink water and no one tells you anything when ring or on arrivalThis is no resort let alone a park omg disappointed. Dirty looking place..and once you get on the dirt road you can't turn around beware! I wouldn't give it 1 star but I had to to do this review

Went for a Day Trip and stopped by the Woolgarlo Leisure Resort Store/Admin Office which is where you can obtain access to the boat ramp. Spoke to the kindest managers in Ray and Maryanne who were more than eager to share about the site they are so passionate about. They also post regular updates and photos about rain, snow, dam levels and any other bits of information so it's worth checking it out prior to heading out. Just don't expect Ritz Carlton or Hilton Hotel facilities but if you like the iconic, good ol' Aussie hospitality and natural dam setting of the meandering Yass countryside, then you are in for a treat. I certainly wasn't disappointed :)
