Friendly, accommodating staff, clean, well appointed room with a comfy bed. Room had everything you’d expect and more for the stars I was pleasantly surprised. Off the main road a little so we had a quiet night, couldn’t tell there were guests next door. We will stay again.

Best motel we stayed at in qld!Have past through when going from Airlie to ACT. Clean, very friendly staff. The ac was turned on before we arrived. Helpful, easy check in!Thanks a lot!

Great pet friendly motel with super nice owners. We felt so welcome on our way through to Cairns. Very clean and cozy motel, candle lit pathways at night was a nice touch!Would definitely stay again and highly reccomend!

Its wonderful to come and stay at a place where you can tell the owner is presenting a room that he I would stay in himself. Simple but really well presented. Sounds like a funny compliment by he provides the same super soft toilet paper I get at home.

My sister and I recently stayed at the Overflow Motor Inn at Emerald on our way to Avon Downs Station near Mount Coolon. The Owners Jan and David Griffith were absolutely delightful. Such lovely friendly people. We found this Motel on the internet as we neared Emerald and it was an absolute Oasis. It was warm comfortable clean and very well serviced. After a long drive from Brisbane that day we couldn't believe our luck at such warm welcoming, down to earth people. So we made the effort to make sure we made it back there on the way home. It was like coming home, we were really tired and this couple and their perfect accommodation meant so much to us both. We had a lovely cup of coffee and toast with them on the morning of our departure and they are so genuine with there interest and friendship we simply could not believe it. It went a long way to making our return visit to the Station we grew up on into a beautiful memory. Definitely returning to this perfect Motel which is really moderately priced.

Had to do a last minute trip to Emerald 2 with only notice. Darryl was amazing accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, great for our overnight stay. Highly recommended this little Gem. Thank you Darryl for being so understanding.
