its ok does have more lighting then the one at northgate though

Usually a late night visit for me and the staff are friendly and helpful, even though they're probably counting down the last 30 minutes on the inside.It's a clean and tidy store with wheelchair access, and the actual complex has wheelchair accessible toilets down the hall just past Woolies.

Great addition to Glenorchy, always well stocked, especially appreciate the variety of fruit and vegetables.

I really like the shop except.... You needs to be really careful with your used by dates. I brought a bag of lettuce on the 4th of December and it's used by date was the 4th of December. Also did not buy any fresh meat because it was set to expire the next day ... there were no markdown stickers on anything... Be more vigilant

Somehow, I always leave Woolworths Glenorchy feeling disappointed. The trip starts with the outdoor carpark which is scattered with shopping trolleys customers haven't returned. (Some trees for shade would go a long way to improve the carpark.) As you enter the store you see your options - trolleys or baskets - both are filthy and need a good scrub. If you're lucky there will be some wipes and sanitizer but it's a DIY cleaning situation - it's unlikely the store ever does. You then see some not-so-fresh fruit and veg that's selling for a premium price. The onsite bakery is next - which is actually pretty decent with a good selection of cakes and bread. The rest of the store has a pretty decent range and stock available - but you'll notice the whole store has a dirty feel to it - like it needs a good clean. The roof often leaks (likely every time it rains) - adding to the shopping experience. Finally, the checkouts - and if you take the self-serve you'll be greeted with a image of yourself on the screen. The machine films and plays back the you using the checkout. To say it's unsettling is an understatement - but mostly, it's a reminder that this is a store that has a high theft problem and as a result they do not trust you and want to show you how much they don't trust you. What a great last thought as you leave what is always a disappointing shopping trip.

Nice smaller supermarket reasonable rang and fairly good service

One of the worst experiences I had had lately. The guy wasn’t trained clearly at the checkout. Couldn’t even work the conveyer belt, didn’t count my money, didn’t understand the operating system didn’t give me right change. I had to tell him what to do. Who the hell trains these people he wasn’t a teenager so not having a go at them . But clearly doesn’t understand money or English well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Apart from that I don’t mind the store.

A big store with a lot of variety of items and decent space between isles. When I visited a lot of items were on sale but not sure it was due to Christmas or end of year. Over all its good, off street parking or nearby streets.
