Telstra Brookside

I pre ordered a Pixel Pro so that I could get the special offer. When I tried to register for the redemption, the so called receipt I received from the Brookside store wasn't sufficient as it doesn't state the date of purchase. Over the past week I have left 3 phone messages, one of which was returned but I was unable to answer. I have also left numerous text messages with the person I originally dealt with. I just have a simple request for a receipt to be emailed to me. I also had a couple of other issues which have only been partly resolved so I am one very unhappy customer.

Planned trip overseas.Didn't want roaming charges.Went to telstra, they turned off roaming in the telstra app settings.Kept flight mode on the whole trip.Phone did not get used once.(Bought another phone and sim to use at airport.)Got 14 $10.00 charges. ($140.00)2 trips to telstra store when back in Australia to remedy problem, after which was told to call billing as its not our department....2 hours on the phone to billing for them to confirm no data was used overseas.Was told monies will be credited back to you within 5 to 7 business days.10 business days later still nothing

Fantastic initial and follow up service from (in order of appearance) Seb, Neeb, Wei and Dean. Thank you everyone for your set-up and subsequent support with addressing manufacturing defects and providing other comfort" changes to the customer experience. One happy family here

Absolute worst - after taking 2 hours (and 4 staff members) to sort out a simple request for new internet, an appt was made for 10 days time to connect said new internet. 5 days prior to the scheduled appt Telstra has just cut off our current internet, meaning we cannot use our baby monitor.. I’m currently sleeping on the floor in the babies room, and will have to get a new non-wifi monitor tomorrow.Through three different Telstra help mediums, we cannot resolve the issue and are just trying to cancel everything Telstra to go to a different provider - new provider currently can’t connect as Telstra now have an open work order to cancel.. but they say it’s cancelled.. it’s just ridiculous

Politest worst service ever! Store near empty (probably because they are turning customers away) and told all consultants are busy. Took my phone number to call in an hur maybe an hour and a half. Came back after 90mins and told still three people in front of us, no idea about an honest time, almost no one in the store and no sense of urgency. Disgraceful.

About 4 hours of my life wasted and 3 visits to this store so far trying to setup home internet - which they were unable to activate for about 2 weeks. I've now signed up elsewhere (it took about 16 minutes over the phone and a connection was working in 15 minutes with Aussie). Now Telstra has decided to kick Aussie off our line because they didn't cancel the work order as requested, so we have no internet. On hold to Telstra again to try and fix this mess. Luckily their hold times are long so I have plenty of time to write this review.EDIT: Telstra sent me a bill for the internet I never received.I emailed Christine per her response 7 days ago.No response - so will raise with the Ombudsman instead.

Thank you Eli for your professional service this morning. You helped me with my queries in an understanding manner, considering you were dealing with a technological luddite! Georgia was very courteous both on the phone and at the store. My experience at a nearby Telstra store left a lot to be desired and a $4.00 parking fee for nothing! Great job Brookside.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with 4 staff members at this store and I had to say it he store deserves some kind of award from Telstra.It's the only store I have been in, in any state or territory over the last 30 years, where the staff are really friendly and approachable, go out of their way to be helpful but also courteous of other customers waiting, and professional. I have walked away each time feeling content and genuinely happy. It was a very pleasant experience which is extremely unusual for a Telstra store, normally you walk away frustrated to some degree.The manager should be very proud to have great team members like Ellie, Neve, Sam, and the other guys I dealt with. Its also a really nice looking store that invites you in unlike the white stark ones.

After our NBN qnd Modem were cooked in the recent electrical storm, I struggled to get a resolution from the call centre. Georgia at brookside was absolutely fantastic and was able to replace our modem same day which was critical for me working from home. Brilliant service. Thank you!
