Bumbles Cafe
This cafe has a great menu and is so quaint. It is opposite the water at Buds Beach. The staff are really friendly and the food and drinks are excellent quality. Looking at the various rooms, it is well able to cater for larger groups, as well as more intimate lunches. It is open one night a week for dinner, but I think that may be a temporary summer thing, so you’d need to check.Chicken sandwich and the Karaage burger were both delicious!I love this place. It’s a quieter haven if you are staying at Surfers. Definitely worth a visit.

Good coffee, friendly service, yummy menu (all day brunch options but no eggs after 1130am). Sparkling water on tap.The cakes are amazing!Lovely local spot looking across to the beach with seating outside plus some lovely dining areas inside on multiple levels and the ability to cater for groups.

Beautiful place that faces the peaceful river/stream. It's not a not busy road so it's quite nice to seat outside and watch the world go by. Oh the inside is huge! They have many quaint rooms and tables indoors.Service staff is very attentive and friendly.Food. My poached eggs were fully cooked inside. Toast was rather dry and hard.Coffee (I got the flat white) is really good.I would go back again, maybe try another dish.Many free parking spaces just opposite the restaurant.

An eclectic style with wide views of the canal. The waitress was charming and efficient. The Eggs Benny was tasty but a tad expensive considering it had bacon rather than salmon. The coffee cups were large.

Such a beautiful place for high tea. Great interior decorations and fresh flowers on every table. Perfectly cooked salmon. Delicious prawn sandwiches. Will be back for more. Such courteous service to boot. Great names for the fresh juices haha.

Great place to eat when you’re near Surfers. Kudos to our waitress Diane, she made our experience much more enjoyable and the service was very efficient.The overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the building was very calm and had rustic vibes. I was seated at the back where the decorations seemed a little bit cluttered but it suited well with the plants. I would recommend calling up and booking a table before arrival so that you can be seated at an indoor table. But you can also be seated at the front which provides beach views and a breeze.The food was overall really nice and delicious and the drinks were pretty good. Have had takeaway coffee before here, and it does not disappoint. You can ask to park your bike at the side gate.

Totally forgot I had been here before (well it had been over ten years!) and booked in for high tea, note high tea has to be pre paid at least 24 hours in advance. Given their expertise with cakes I thought high tea would be sensational but it was just okay.The sandwiches were dry and I firmly believe high tea necessities two scones not one. Staff were on top of my dietary requirements though which was something. Lovely atmosphere but unfortunately the food fell shortOriginal reviewHad breakfast enjoying the beautiful aroma of stunning fresh flowers and the lovely relaxing breeze.
