I had a very disappointing exeperience at this salon. I went for teeth whitening, unfortunately I forgot about my appointment and arrived 30 minutes late. I was happy with the result of the whitening but when I paid I realized I had been charged for 3 sessions not 2. This was explained to me that I had booked the time even though I had not used it. Fair enough but if I had cancelled I would have been charged a 50% cancellation fee, so I am not sure of the owner’s reasoning behind her charging me the full amount, particularly when I had spent $200 there the week prior. On my way home I called to discuss my disappointment, the owner was busy and I was assured she would call me back by the end of the day. I am still waiting to hear from her. Strange behavior/customer service for a business fairly new in it’s establishment.

Should’ve listened to the locals. When I was enquiring about salon places, I was told not to go here as the staff are rude and the service is even worse. I walked in to the appointment where the lady at the front was talking about a previous client quite negatively. I had booked to get my nails done and the lady spent about 10 mins chatting with her colleague at the front before getting to me. Then she spent the next hour talking about how the salon is better than the ‘cheap Asian’ nails.Granted, the nails are good however the atmosphere was not. This is not the place to go to if you want to relax.

I have been here several times in the past and have always seen my regular technician to get acrylic nails. Once she moved on I followed. However, today I had to get my acrylic nails removed. To my knowledge it should be a soak off. However I had the technician use an efile to file the nail down and remove the acrylic that way. On several occasions I had flinched instinctively and had involuntary movement from the pain/burning of this filing. When I asked why they didn't soak them off, she replied with the acetone is harsh on nails. However, I've now been left with sore aching nails, and very very thin nails due to the excessive filing. I would have much rathered the harshness of the acetone. I could have spent less on an efile and done them myself, if I knew this was the way they removed acrylics. I'd suggest having this method noted when booking so people can make an informed decision. If I had known this I would have gone elsewhere.

The team at Lord Muck are amazing. They're so professional yet they make you feel comfortable and give you a great laugh.They give such an incredible experience and would recommend to everyone, men and women. It's 2020, everyone should take good care of their bodies :)Thanks team!

I should have listened to a friend that said not to go here. The staff are absolutely horrible and not understanding at all. They made my 15 year old daughter cry and when I said we wanted to cancel our service as my daughter is very upset now they charged me the full amount without doing anything at all. The staff member carried on about us not booking enough time for the service we wanted, however she was the one who was running more than 15 minutes late for our appointment. I understand that each service requires a specific amount of time but there is an appropriate way to address clients. I’m absolutely devastated at how they made my daughter feel and I assure you I will be seeking further advice on this matter!!

Had a full set of Sassy acrylic nails done just out of lockdown on natural nail with a short extension using forms and Ballerina style. The design was beautiful however after 2 weeks they started lifting around the cuticle and by my 3 week refill appointment had all clean popped off (did not ruin my natural nail and none had broken they just all lifted clean off). I put this down to not having nails for all of lockdown and leaving it too long for the refill as my nails grew quickly (as can happen when first getting acrylics back on) but none the less a little disappointing. This time I got a Regal full set of acrylics (more in depth design takes longer uses more products) still a short length using forms on natural nail this time almond shaped. After two days the tip broke of one nail, a day later a second nail tip broke off then in a week a third and forth tip. I had been even less “hard” on the nails this time round, super cautious and on holidays so not at work and they didn’t last a day/week. I took photos and sent the salon a message asking if it could be fixed in time for a engagement photoshoot and as they hadn’t lasted long at a cheaper rate. Unfortunately the salon was closed which can’t be helped but I was disappointed in been blamed for user error as this didn’t usually happen with clients with longer nails than I. I even mentioned the previous first set had issues too. Due to needing the nails fixed I had to go elsewhere. The new salon commented on the thickness of the acrylic, that my cuticles had not been cleaned or pushed back properly and the application of the acrylic and over filing on the sides is what was causing the tips to break, I got a new full set of acrylics slightly longer using tips not forms and almond shaped. During the last week I’ve had much more use of my hands as back to work and admittedly been “harder” on my nails than usual and they are going strong they are also much thinner than previous. I’ve had acrylics many times and never had the issues I had with these done at Lord Muck. The customer service is great, staff amazing but I was let down on this occasion and hope my feedback can be used constructively.

Just got a pedicure done here, best way to spend an hour on a Saturday. I've always been paranoid about my feet but the ladies made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. It was like spending an hour with an old friend. Will definitely be getting pedicures more often, thank you Lord Muck.

Love the girls at lord muck they are so kind and have a great atmosphere with so many different services all in one place I love going there to get pampered and relax as well as having a fun chat with the girls I would never go anywhere else you are 100% paying for quality and would definitely recommend lord muck to everyone.

I would strongly suggest looking at your options. My wife went in for a microdermabrasion late 2021 and the incorrect tip was used which scarred her face. The scars weren’t really noticeable until the following day which looked like she’d been in a cat fight.We got our money back but we really should’ve looked at what other options were out there but it’s too late. It’s been almost twelve months and my wife is struggling with breakouts which prior to her visit never happened. The excuse prior to knowing the incorrect tip was skin colour which seemed very strange as she had microdermabrasions in the past and was never a breakout issue.The sad thing was the lady would have an excuse ready ie skin colour. She offered treatments but why go back when damage had already been done. Light scarring is still visible.Own up to your mistakes and stop making excuses. People in other fields who keep making mistakes get sacked. We never and won’t be back just like others. It breaks my heart when she cries knowing the damage is still causing problems to this day.

Absolutely love the team at Lord Muck, professional and friendly ladies that deliver quality service every appointment. My nails always receive compliments, would not go anywhere else!
