Great location, friendly staff, excellent coffee and a spectacular view

a long wait however fabulous service, fish and chips

Early this year I planned my dream wedding with the Boathouse Palm Beach. Unfortunately I received a diagnosis of Breast Cancer in August and had to cancel all plans. Every small business involved in the planning of the wedding happily gave us a full refund.However, unfortunately the successful and large Boathouse Group would not budge on their policy and would not give us a full refund. We have since sent a personal plea letter to the owners asking for their consideration on special compassionate grounds. That was ignored. This is a shame. I have friends that have been married at this venue and many friends in the music business who have been involved with weddings and functions with the group.I would have thought that this was a special case that could be considered and dealt with much better, but I was wrong.Shame on you Boathouse Group.

We love the Boathouse venues and have been happy customers for many years, our kids even worked there. Back in June we ordered and paid significant money for 2 gift cards. One was delivered by email, all good. The other one never arrived. After months of email and phone communication we were only told again and again that the missing gift card had been delivered, and we were asked to look into our spam folder - quite an insult to assume that we are stupid enough not to check there. 3 weeks ago we were then promised that Linda? would look into the matter again - never happened. Extremely annoying and disappointing and totally unnecessary, because this issue would be so easy to solve.

As a local wedding supplier it is always such a pleasure working on a Boathouse Group wedding.Always so professional, accomodating and everyone including the floor staff are always such a delight to work with.I've had nothing but great experiences over the years providing flowers for my clients getting married at their venues.

Thank you Goldsmiths, for bringing such a fantastic venue to Patonga. It’s always a treat for me and my friends to meet at the Boat House. The staff greets you like family, the food is great and the location gorgeous. We really needed something like this on the Central Coast.

Similar disappointing experience with a gift voucher. Purchased two. One for $350 and one for $150. Both vouchers were written out to $150. When the purchase came to spend the voucher, he was not told there had been an error and it had $150. remaining.(Luckily I was there to witness the transaction). I, as the gift giver was extremely embarrassed. After a call to distributer of gift vouchers, The Boathouse made good the $150.00 but no apology for the mistake or any gesture of goodwill. They would have been quite happy for me to forfeit the $150. I needed to purchase a gift voucher yesterday. Did I purchase from the Boathouse? No? They've lost my custom. Poor attention to detail, and clearly an arrogant lack of respect for their customers.

Highly recommend holding your function at the newly renovated Manly Pavilion Function Centre in manly. We had an incredible night with devine food and a peaceful location by the Manly Cove waterway.

A fantastic venue but we just waited over 20 mins for a milkshake and an iced coffee at the takeaway section. The place wasn't even busy! They definitely need to figure out some better processes to speed up service!
