I’ve known Dan for many years. Since starting up One Tree he’s become the go to man for anything to do with canoeing on the Brisbane River (Wivenhoe to Kholo). Whether it’s shuttle runs, supplying canoes, repairing canoes or guiding. He’s always got a cheery, can do attitude. Love working w Dan & always look forward to an opportunity for a catch up & a laugh.

I had a great afternoon here. I put the order online midnight before the second day and had no idea what it would be like. The place they have is totally family-like and feel like visiting a friend in the farm. Dan was fun and made us feel welcome and talked us through how to paddle even though we had literally 0 experience before. We soon learned the tircks to paddle after getting in water and spent a great afternoon there. If you are new to this and looking for some nee experience, this is the place to go. You won't regret it. And thank you so much Dan, for making us so happy.

My husband and I went on the Sunset Paddle down the Brisbane River which followed by a lovely platter of cheeses and wine in a picnic style on the river bank as we watched the sunset. We had a great time. Dan and Sue are are friendly and was very helpful with technique and safety. Whether you are an experienced paddler or new to paddling, I highly recommend the Sunset Paddle.

We loved our sunset canoe and picnic. The canoes were really easy to paddle and scenery along the river beautiful. We returned to a very generous and delicious picnic overlooking the river, it was a great finish to the evening. Thanks for having us!

Amazing experience on the river today. Dan was excellent, as were the boats. We followed Dan's directions to get to Burton Bridge, which provided half a day's paddle. Great opportunity to get families outside in the local area. Highly recommend.

My friends and I had an amazing experience with Dan and Sue. What a lovely canoeing trip! We enjoyed the rapids and calm river. We had a chance to dip into the water during this warm summer day! Dan and Sue were great tour guides that make us feel safe and comfortable during the trip. I can feel their passion towards the river and the nature. Highly recommended!

My family and I camped at One Tree via Hipcamp and we were fortunate enough to use the canoes!! 10/10 would recommend, it was a beautiful day out on the water

Loved every single part of it, great scenic, great host, great canoe. Very relaxing one day trip from Brisbane. No need to worry about not knowing how to canoe, cause the river are very calm and easy to paddle. Will definitely come back and recommend to others.

Can't wait to go again. We went canoeing with One Tree for the second time and, just like the first, time it was great. Dan and Sue are fun and helpful, they make it so easy. They provide everything, dropped us off and picked us up. We could just get on with enjoying the river. And their canoes are fantastic. I really can't recommend them enough.
