Avoid at all costs. I had work nearby and asked a basic question about chemical. The young guy working told me with absolute certainty, what I found later to have been life threatening wrong information. When I came back to complain, he stood by it even after I proved him wrong with google. Even then he did not admit his mistake. Such stubbornness I have never seen in my life. Very careless shop with no care for customer at all! Please don’t give them your business

I was working there in 2017 for few months. The Chinese owner got my tax number and paid my salary in cash, and the hour rate was much lower than the minimum wage. I bet they are still doing the same. If you are international student or working holiday people, avoid to working there.

This store has a terrible selection of breads (mainly just white breads) & is slightly overpriced. A lot of the products don't have a price - tag, so you have to ask the cashier for the price. I would only recommend this store if you live nearby and need to quickly get something.

Everything is grossly overpriced, they have rotten produce & out of date items on the shelves. Bad smells are coming from the dairy & meat fridges. Frost burned items are stacked in the freezers. & the staff are rude, useless & hopelessly incompetent. It's honestly not worth the effort of going to this place. You're far better off driving a few kilometres & going to Marrickville Metro. I would give them a lower rating than one star, but unfortunately that's not an option.

This foodworks is overpriced and has mouldy products and very bad selection would not recommend going here unless you absolutely have to!

Friendly staff. Will order products they don't have. Good source of fresh fruit and vegetables in a shopping strip that recently lost its greengrocer. Prices quite fair for a small business.

Disgusting!!! Stopped in to grab some items because it was convenient. The shredded cheese was mouldy and looked like it had been frozen and thawed out (every packet was the same)..! A few items were well out of date and way too expensive. No refund or exchange for the product that fails..... contacted FoodWorks head office but no reply. I found a better little market further along the same road towards the city

Shocking service from this store. I was there last week while the only staff member who I assume to be the owner was arguing with a supplier on the phone while a number of customers waited to be served. The lady at the head of the queue walked out after about 10 mins leaving her basket of goods on the counter. The guy then served the next in line before returning to his phone call. I then also walked out an will not return ever.

Living above this shop has made it convenient, but I rarely go in as it’s overpriced, always out of what you actually want and the staff get upset when you interrupt them while they play on their phones.I would stay clear unless you have to go in there.
