Positive Health Positive Mind

I was referred by my GP two weeks ago. After a couple of days I called them to see if they received my referral the receptionist said they had received it but were only goin to call me once they assigned me to a doctor. A week and a half past so I called to ask if they have assigned a doctor to me only to have a Doctor tell me they cant help me and that i was better suited to see a clinical psychologist . this is the second practice to turn me away and all I wanted to speak to a doctor about my anxiety and depression also anger issues and adjustment disorder. but i feel these people don't like to use mental health plans. I was told that Men's mental health was important and there was a lot of help out there but after being told twice i cant be helped its very discouraging.

There are many professionals to choose from in psychology.Positive mind positive health has this and much more.There is a love of life at these premises, that I have not seen anywhere else.Thankyou so much Shealagh for taking me as a client.❤

11 years of therapists, 13 different therapists... And in 6 sessions I've achieved more than in those 11 years. Shaleigh is incredible. The reception is so lovely. The aura is calm and relaxing. I'm so blessed to have been referred here.

Whilst my experience with the psychologist was amazing and warm. I was let down by the administration. I could no longer take the appointment as a phone call as they we're 20 minutes upwards behind(which I am understanding of as my first appointment was 30 mins late also) as I had prior engagements booked after my phone call it was cutting it too close. I asked Peter if I can cancel and reschedule but was informed that I would be charged $50 for cancelling even though they hadn't called in the allocated time frame. I didn't find this to be very professional as it wasn't my fault they were late. I'm sure people with anxiety will understand that it doesn't set a comfortable tone to return to.

Psychologist was condescending, yawned twice during the session of my emotional dialogue. I was shocked ,stopped and said am I boring you?" I learnt more about her life and business.She also needs better organisation of her staffs' reception skills. I would have rated it zero if I could."

The psychologist barely let me speak, she told me a lot about herself and her life. Often when I was speaking she would cut me off and interrupt me - I could noticeably tell she wasn't listening to anything I said. Upon paying/leaving I was handed a statement of claim for my medicare rebate, but a few days later once I noticed I hadn't received my medicare rebate into my bank account yet I realised that the statement/claim they had handed to me belonged to one of their other clients - this had this other clients personal details on it such as their medicare card number, address, full name and DOB. I understand mistakes happen, but this entire experience was dissapointing for me... sadly I will not be coming back.

Promises to return calls regarding booking in appointments and never returns them. I suffer from anxiety and making phone calls is incredibly difficult for me, yet somehow the times I do call, they are ALWAYS out of the office and unable to book me in.

Great team and services been using Deb for over 2 years and love her approach and she is so hands on
