Surfers Aquarius on the Beach

Location and views - Amazing. The apartments are huge - spacious and pleasant. HOWEVER, I would call these “barely-serviced” apartments.We were issued 4 towels (though we are a family of five). We asked for more but were abruptly told there were none and that basically it was our problem to figure out. There’s no pool towels either (even to hire). So I thought I’d re-wash towels to keep them fresh. Alas, we were issued one single-use laundry powder sachet then, upon request, abruptly told there was no more laundry powder. So it was four very soggy towels for us for a week. I’d expect better service.Be warned staying here, you may be left high and dry (or damp, in our case).

Best family holiday there were 14 adults and 8 children. Surfers Aquarius was wonderful we had 6 apartments and they were all different but suited each family the front desk was amazing so helpful the indoor and outdoor pool wonderful and the outside barbecue was a great space !! Local surf club had great food and we were right in the beach!!

Got in late at night with a toddler, 1030-11pm, tried setting up cot, and it was broken/old looked dirty. Got a replacement next day. Was better.Rooms are abit outdated, found rubbish and food in cupboards/freezer.Found coffee spilt down the back/side of bed.Carpet has stains.Other then that the location is beautiful/views, plenty of room to move and reception was lovely and had great customer service.Overall will stay again, just cleaners letting the hotel down.

Would never stay again 600 was taken from my account over a dent in fridge plus another 150 for my sisters hotel room when I asked why it wasn't taken from my sisters account and taken from mine bec said she didn't have my sisters details and said my sisters room was very un tidy when it wasn't she wasn't even provided a vacuum cleaner to clean the floors spoke to bec again she told me she would call me back regarding the dent in the fridge never did but called my sister because she left a bad review asked her to remove the review and she would refund her the 150 back to my account and denied telling my sister her room was dirty would not recommend anyone to stay there as they lie do not follow through with anything they sayI'm very upset the way bec has spoken to me about my sister and then telling my sister something else

I stayed here with my children and my partnerThe dishwasher was dirty I had to clean top of it and cubboards Great view but windows was filthyI stripped the beds and stacked the dishwasher wipes benches couchesand coffee table down and folded and washed towels before leavingThe hole time we was there 10 days they didn't change sheets vavcumm or clean the bathroomsI cleaned the fridge and cupboardsI then got billed for an untidy roomI asked everyday I was there for a vaccum to clean the floors and was not supplied oneI was given the office Dyson once but it was flat so couldn't use itOn the day of leaving I asked will I be billed for the place not being vaccummed and they said noI asked so many times for one due to the sand and dirtiness from kids and beachI was billed for extra cleaning that was not needed I didn't have to fold the towels and wash themOr strip the beds to make it easier for themThe customer service from Bec was awful she was nothing but rude andWhen I tried to speak to her she was aragoant and abruptPeople live in the hotel if your taking your kids this is not the place to stayEspecially if you can't settle your childDefiantly would never stay here again nor would I recommend it

We’ve been staying at Surfers Aquarius on an annual basis for approximately 10+ years (sometimes we would sneak a second or third trip in!). The apartments we have stayed in over the years have always been top notch and include everything that is required for long stays. We hope to be heading back up there very soon.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing and very professional.The view was amazing worth every penny.They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Gold Coast.

We enjoyed the beautiful views of the sea from our apartment, and appreciated the convenient location near shopping centers and restaurants. The fact that the main street of Surfers Paradise was only a 15-minute walk away is also a big plus.

Perfect location, right on the beach. We had apartments 11B, which had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and laundry, city and beach views. Reasonable priced, off peak. A underground carpark was included in the price, which was easy to access. We arrived after hours and the instructions to access our room keys was easy to follow. We'd definitely stay here again. There was a small issue with the security deposit, but staff were quick to respond and explain it. They have both an indoor and outdoor pool, which was clean, as well as two indoor spas. We used the pools everyday.Highly recommend!
