Rob and team did an extraordinary job carefully stripping back the cement render off the sandstone wall of our 130 year old terrace, restoring the wall and installing new stone paving on top of the varandah. His teams attention to detail is second to none.

Rob/York Stone Restoration recently did an absolutely outstanding job re-cutting our very old hand-cut stone stairs. He took them from an unusable, dilapidated state, to a beautiful and functional garden feature. We were given recommendations for Rob of York Stone Restoration not once but twice and after reading his reviews on Google, it was obvious that there was no better company to do the repointing and tuckpointing of our 92 year old federation house.Given that the original brickwork was damaged and uneven, Rob and his assistant needed all of their skills to bring the façade up to Rob’s exacting standards.York Stone Restoration may be considered at the high end cost wise but we cannot regret our decision given the time, care and expertise of Rob and his team. It was a long, difficult job in hot weather conditions but they never missed a day and often worked through the day from 7am to well after knock off time.Rob is incredibly easy to get along with, respectful of ourselves, pets and our property.We very much recognise and appreciate how much value Rob and York Stone Restoration has added to our property.
