Taj Curry Indian Restaurant
One of our favourite Indian restaurants in Darwin. Normally order a takeaway (rather than eat in) and always enjoy it. The naan breads are delicious.Takeaway usually takes 30 minutes; but sometimes we will ask for longer and visit Dom’s Bar (around the corner) for a cocktail whilst we wait.This week we had some of our favourites Malai Kofta, Kadai Chicken, Pilau Rice, Cheese Garlic Naan (see photo).The images on the website aren’t 100% accurate, but we are happy to try new things and have never been disappointed by an order.

Had Allo partha this morning. Very authentic Indian taste served with choice of pickles and curd. Also, 5 star traditional tea. Thanks to the chef.

This Indian Restaurant is really an amazing one and highly recommended.The staffs and waiter are so nice and very welcoming, the decor is very beautiful and so quite spacious inside to dine in.(It has an event hall inside as well).First time, I tried dahi puri simply loved it and need to go back again to explore other dishes.Thank you for such amazing food.Try a second time and everything was really delicious but unfortunately wasn't able to finish it as was way too spicy for me. Thank you for the delicious food.

Great food on offer.We shared the cheese entree (paneer?), followed by Prawn Malabar and Goat Curry. We selected the Palau Rice and Paratha to accompany, along with Mango Lassi - all very good.I would recommend this restaurant for value for money.

Very filling, excellent service with a smile. Bus 4 has a stop near by was ing distance 2 minutes, beach is 5 minutes stroll. Nicely decorated, popular with pick up orders. Clean, dimly lit, party space available. Deal Mahkini (15$) slitghly spicy, mild flavours in creamy curry sauce. Shahi Pander (15$) slightly sweet with a tiny taste of peanut served in a rich creamy sauce... Very filling no need for rice. Two plain naan ($3 each).Great for meetings, perfect for date.

I ordered gol gappa and got only onions(half of the container at the base and one spoon potato on top) which was very disappointing. Would never order from Taj again.Not even any takeaway cutlery(but serving takeaway/delivery foods?
