Flutes Restaurant
Had a great lunch here the other day. Beautiful sitting out on the deck and wasn’t too hot; we also had the option of dining inside. We had seafood & soba noodle salad / sesame crusted tuna loin for entrees, and both had ocean trout for mains. All dishes were fantastic and excellent service, gardens well kept and easy to get to. Would love to come back to this place to see what it’s like in the winter and to taste everything else on the menu. Highly recommend!

Was here for lunch recently. It was quiet on a Monday afternoon. Service was excellent and we got our orders taken. Food turned out to be quite good . We took the set menu as there were good options to choose from . Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend this place. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful lake with lots of birds/ducks etc swimming in the lake.

Fantastic experience in every aspect on a Sunday. The $75 charge for 3 course meal was excellent value and there was a lot of choice on the menu. Staff were friendly and efficient. Wide selection of wines too.

I have been in the region many times and have had lunch in various winery restaurants. The Flutes is one of the most memorable. The food, wine and the view are top notch!

Nestled away in some beautiful grounds, we went for lunch and had the $80 lunch menu.Family of 4 with older teen-agers.We had a 3 course meal and couldn't fault either the food, wine or service.Normally I like to compare what we all order to see which dish was a standout. This meal had 4 outstanding dishes reach time.We had marron, duck spring rolls, arancini for entree.Main was salmon, beef cheek gnocchi, lamb and seafood pasta.Each dish was cooked to perfection, the chefs creations were outstanding.Dessert was a chocolate mousse, creme brulee, panna cotta, a vegan fruit crumble with sorbet.Service was prompt, efficient and the arrival of the dishes sufficiently staggered.I would definately recommend and would return.

Wonderful lunch @ Flutes. Kirsty our host was absolutely fantastic. Recommended a great wine (Brookland Reserve Cab Sab) to go with the exceptional food - duck leg - succulent and sublime in taste, only matched by an excellent lamb cutlet (medium rare). A must visit!

Had lunch here on a rainy day. Chose the 2 course set menu. Great options and very delicious. Drink selection was generous also. Lovely view over the lake.

Lunch on a Monday and it didn’t disappoint. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the Wilyabrup Brook was flowing rapidly and the restaurant warm and welcoming with stunning views on the river. Service was excellent especially as the waitress told us she was quite new. She was pleasant, efficient and very eager to please. The food was delicious with ample serving sizes. We ordered the Charcuterie, the seafood pasta and sticky date and all was delicious. Very enjoyable experience

As a wedding photographer (James Sparrow Photography), I recently had the pleasure of working at this beautiful venue and was impressed by its beautiful views, excellent amenities, and friendly staff. It's a perfect place for any celebration.

Overrated and overpriced.Service was very slow and food was nothing to shout about. It was quite full at the restaurant during lunch and I understand it was busy but food took unreasonably long to arrive. I had the fish and it was so underwhelming with the sauce (I think it’s lemon butter). We ordered two of the same fish dish and was surprised to see that the portions were not consistent. Ordered a side of broccolini which was probably boiled in salt water and cost AUD12. The steak was tender and well cooked but not sure about the sauce which came in a shot glass. Entrees were not good - duck spring roll had no traces of duck and was instead filled with what looked like broken vermicelli. Sauce was just kecap manis and sweet chilli sauce.There are much better options here at Margaret River for the price.
