First time at the McIver Ladies Baths and I really regret not having visited much sooner. This is the best ocean pool experience I have had in Sydney. Highly recommend. And you cannot beat the price!

Love love love this place! An amazing women's only Rockpool. Lots of places on the rocks to sit, but it can get busy. No photos allowed, so I wasn't able to snap a picture but it is a beautiful place.Seriously, if you've ever had mermaid or siren fantasies, you will live them here and never want to leave.

Sunbathe over huge rocks and then cool off in the rock pool. Water is way warmer than the open sea and just fantastic. Do exercise caution when looking for your private rock to sunbathe on. Mind the gaps and muddy (rather deep) holes on those rocks.

Nice pool. Very crowded in the relaxing outdoor areas. On holiday in Sydney, I attended twice and both times had trouble gaining admittance with cash. There is a cash box, but they'd rather not.

LOVE this place. It's a little bit of a sanctuary near Coogee beach that's open to women and children only. The views are spectacular and the baths themselves (an ocean pool) are great. Not deep at any point, but not a flat surface like in a regular swimming pool either. There are fish in the water, and I saw a couple of sea urchins, lots of tiny crabs and even an interesting sea slug that was making its slow way around the tiny rock pools around the baths. There are a few patches of grass to laze on while reading and/or contemplating life, or lots of rocks to catch some z's or rays, as you prefer.Entrance fee is $2, and you can stay as long as you like. It's open from sunrise to one hour BEFORE sunset.

A ladies only rockpool in Coogee. Steps into pool can be slippery and need to consider the swell as it makes swimming difficult in this pool but otherwise it is a haven for ladies

One of the most beautiful places I've been to in NSW, so welcoming and safe, everyone is so friendly, kind, and open. Not only is it physically gorgeous, with wonderful views and great spots to sunbathe, but the atmosphere is the bees knees. Such a magical place and I recommend it to everyone I come across.

What an incredible experience. A beautiful seawater pool, with an amazing vista, and so many books and crannies for setting down your things and lounging in the sun. There is also the rock face in between the pool and Wiley's Baths that is used for sunbathing. Topless swimming and sunning is accepted here, and no one is rude or judgemental. It is a truly lovely place for women and female identifying humans to relax and cool off, or get in some exercise, or simply just enjoy the view. The $2 entry fee is a non issue, and the walk away from the main beach is worth it. As are the stairs down to the pool.
