We are so in awe and amazed with our wedding video! We absolutely love it, as does all of our friends and family. They completely nailed the vibe and captured the day perfectly. They are an incredibly talented crew, we can't thank them enough for doing such an awesome job!

Where do I even start?I found James on Insta and was immediately drawn in, I knew there and then I wanted him to be our wedding photographer and thankfully he was available! Leading up to the big day he was very helpful and responsive, answering all my random questions. From start to finish on my wedding day James and his beautiful wife captured all those special moments perfectly! My husband and I felt so comfortable and relaxed with their friendly/easy going nature.He is seriously the best in the Biz! I cannot thank him enough, the quality of his work is perfection!

My wife and I got married in Aug and when searching for who to hire for our wedding photos and videos, we stumbled across Luminosity on Instagram and totally loved their style. We got in contact with James and thankfully he was available for our big day! James was unreal throughout the whole process. Communication was always on point and he listened and understood to exactly the theme and style we were looking to capture as well as having some great ideas to make our photos and videos truly memorable. James and his team are great fun which makes it a lot easier to work with them but the quality of our wedding photos and videos is way beyond what we could ever have expected! The extended story package created a video montage of the whole day that we keep watching again and again. James was such an amazing photographer. From the very start he made my husband (still getting used to saying that!) and I feel super comfortable and he gave us some great laughs as well, which is always a winner when you’re not used to someone taking your photos!His communication was amazing and even with two postponed wedding dates due to covid he was so understanding and flexible with helping us to organise the third wedding.James sent us an email the day after the wedding with about 50 photos from the day and we’re SO happy with them. They’re so much better than we could have bexpected and we’re so excited to see the rest!We’d definitely recommend James to anyone!

James took my wedding photos up in Port Douglas May 2023 and he did an absolutely outstanding job. He was fun and chatty, gave great direction. This wouldn't have been easy as neither me or my husband enjoy our photos being taken particularly. We were completely led by him in terms of location and poses and thank for we did because the photos were stunning. He use the lighting perfectly, he clearly knows his stuff. Thank you James for making our day and perfect memories to look back on!!

We were so fortunate to have James and Sam with us on our wedding day! Right from first contact, Luminosity studios were great! James gave us excellent advice in preparation for the day. On the wedding day they were super organised, worked tirelessly and were lovely people to have surrounding us! Our video was finished extremely quickly and we couldn't be happier with how it has turned out! We have watched it so many times and absolutely love it! My husband and I absolutely loved having James photograph our wedding!!! 10/10! James is the go-to photographer if you are looking for someone to capture beautiful moments in FNQ (especially weddings!). James was so wonderful to deal with from start to finish answering all our questions in a very timely manner, offering advice, listening to our wants/needs with timing and locations and he fitted seamlessly into our perfect day. He made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera (something that myself or husband are not use too!) and captured the most incredible images full of laughter and fun. Our guests also commented on how fun and easy to work with James was, noting that they barely noticed him moving throughout the wedding taking snaps! I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

James is a professional and will make everything seem less stressful leading up to and during the biggest day of your life. Nothing was too hard for James and it was so fun having both him and Sam (the best video sidekick ever) part of our day.My husband and I cannot be more happy with Luminosity and our photos and video blew our expectations out of the water. Even our engagement photos are better than we could have dreamed of! We will be eternally grateful to James for our lifelong memories.If you are on the fence about deciding on a photographer or videographer or are worried about the expense, I cannot stress enough that going with Luminosity will be worth every single cent.
