Honestly one of the best cafes/ restaurants I have been to in Tasmania. Food taste and presentation was amazing, and the added beauty and history of the place only adds to the experience. Highly recommend the Okonomiyaki and the Japanese soufflé pancakes. Plus the owner and staff were wonderful. The known history and future plans was interesting to hear. We will be back!

You should plan to stop and eat here, period. Fantastic aesthetics in a old house (ask the owner its story!) with so much character. The food was crazy good as well. Rich, luxurious eggs benny, and soft soufflé pancakes… mmmmmmmm. And to top it all off, service was excellent. The owner herself came out to chat with people and tell the story of the building. She was fantastic with our 4 year old too :)All in all, a wonderful experience. The perfect way to start a tassie getaway off the ferry. Don’t miss it!Thank you Miss Jacqueline!

Food was quite nice, However it was surprisingly quiet on the day we visited and the atmosphere a little dull but worth a try for sure.

My family and I had the great pleasure of eating breakfast at Miss Jacqueline’s this week. Clearly the best breakfast we have ever eaten. The service was incredible and the presentation of the food was immaculate. The flavours of the eggs were something to admire. If you are coming to Tasmania and are anywhere near Devonport you must eat here. Can’t wait to eat here again!

Lovely old home with inviting atmosphere. Lovely coffee. Unfortunately the food is a bit hit and miss and some meals are quite expensive. The scone, jam and cream is $9 (this is for one scone).

Old world charm and ambience in East Devonport. Friendly staff with enough parking around. Gets old world charm with all those photos and architecture. Please note parking around might be of 1P (1 hour max) duration for those who plans to stay more than an hour...

The atmosphere is comfortable with two large rooms that overlook the developing garden. Friendly service and a good range of food from quick bites to meals. Recommended

I wanted to love this place. The salad was freezing cold, small, bland and ordinary. The service very slow, we got forgotten for about a half hour then apologised to, but the order was out of whack a bit, then got fixed. If you like good tea, forget it, tea bags shoved into pot. Too casual with food a lot better elsewhere. I hope they succeed and pick up their game. Nice people.

What a delightful place, steeped in history, a big 2 storey old home. East Devonport, 200m from Spirit of Tasmania terminal, even parking space for big RVs, caravans, trailers across the roadNewly reopened and being progressively brought back to its former glory. Great friendly and attentive staff surrounded by beautiful gardens and a sandstone waterfall in centre of the paved courtyard. And inside is just as awe inspiring. The menu is extensive and flavoursome. Everyday, bigger and better things for this cafe / restaurant!Best of luck to the new owners (we are now regulars!)
