Very nice place for breakfast, lunch, drink, coffee and cake ... so basically everything. It is located very close to the train station. The music is very pleasant. The service is very friendly. I would give it some thought for some more comfortable chairs :)

We visited this place dozen times in the last 2-3 years. I always thought food is good, not great but good. My wife disagrees. She says food is not good. On Friday (April 2023) we had family breakfast and it was terrible. Food was undercooked and very badly presented. Not worth to be paid for. I feel like the palace went downhill. We will not return.

The best coffee in Perth! Would not go anywhere else for a better vibe.The food always tastes brilliant, Morning or night, and toTop it off the customer service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced.

Awesome friendly service with great customer service. I observed lots of happy customers with great conversations as worker was chirpy, seemingly aware of their regular preferences. A happy environment and great food too. Loved the big pot and cup of peppermint tea served. A well indulged waffles with ice-cream and cream. Would be happy to return again with wonderful first visit.

Was really neevous about coming here for food given all the mixed reviews.Shouldn't have worried at all!!!!Perfect place for Sunday brunch.Food was well priced.Lots of seating available both inside and outside.Friendly service.Food and drinks were delicious.Was able to order the breakfast pizza even after breakfast time had finished.Minor hiccup with taking our order where an extra pizza was paid for/ordered accidentally. But was a delicious take home extra instead lol.Toilets were clean.Music was on point.Not too long a wait for Food or drinks.Going back again.

Our family are frequent visitors to the Cafe Royal, we have also held successful functions at Royal Chaos and introduced many friends who now also frequent this fabulous bar and cafe. If you fancy a coffee, snack, wine, or an awesome Indian dinner, Cafe Royal won’t disappoint. The staff are absolutely awesome and make everyone, including our dog, feel welcome. Every time we go it’s like visiting family. We will always return, no place does it better.
