Price gouging at its finest. Diesel is $1.46 in Alice, here it’s $2.09. It doesn’t cost 60 cents a litre to get petrol here. If the IGA can make food reasonably priced in the middle of the desert, then the petrol station can also.

Fill up before you get here. Over priced at rip off prices if $2.90 still. Meanwhile can be more remote and get petrol @ $2.20.This is just ridiculous how Uluru , kings Creek station and Urldunda are around 50-70 cents per litre more.

I have just read the reviews here about poor customer service, laziness and rudeness of male staff and I could not agree more, having experienced that myself during my visit during Easter which I also witnessed with other customers as well). So disappointing!!Bring your own fuel or fill up at Curtain springs on the way to Uluru (coming from south) where they are friendly, helpful and appreciate your business.

I cannot stress enough the laziness of the staff who work at this gas station. One of the families we were traveling with were nearly out of fuel and were in the long line before closing time at 5. At 5 the attendant refused to allow them to pump despite them previously being in line and they had zero consideration of the distance to other services..I also asked for ice and to use the restroom well before closing time but they clean the bathrooms around 4pm and refused to sell us ice clearly so they can start their engines and go home exactly at 5. The told us to go the nearby camp site despite spending over $100 in fuel (well before closing time). There is one or 2 specific gentlemen (dark hair) that are lazy, overweight, and do not care about the customers. Shell should send a supervisor as a secret shopper over to verify everything in this review.

The fuel is expensive but as in all the surrounding stations so it shouldn't surprise you, inside it has a variety of hot and cold products, if you want to buy a souvenir of the place you will find a variety here and the prices are not ridiculously expensive as in some places, it is the most varato that I saw. fast food is also at a fair price.

Fuel is a joke $1.69 in Alice and $2.25 at the servo at Ayers Rock,excuse was it needs to come from Adelaide. We had just came down the great central and the most we paid was $2.20 and it is full remote and unsealed. Seriously need to stop gauging people.

Good place to launch your visit to Uluru Kats Tjuta

Expensive but it’s the only fuel in town. Fuelled up no problems, and they let us refill our water tank (ask first since they only allowed it because we bought over $200 worth of fuel). Some decent snacks, and didn’t have any issues with the staff. No swap and go gas bottles for those that are interested. Good mobile reception and some relatively shady trees to park under.
