It’s only open on the first and last Saturday of the month and also closed on holidays so check before coming

Steve, Byron, one more gentleman and a learner young man, the team of 4 was really very welcoming and gracefully did all fixing of my Bycycle. They do not expect anything in return of this courtesy. They do it on the name of God. I salute, thank and bow before their service with dedication.

Nice bunch of people running a community workshop, helping people learn to maintain their bikes. I was happy to be able to donate some spare bike parts I had in my own shed to them.Suggest you email them (see the About tab on their public Facebook page - login not required - fb/Bikeshednewtown) to check they are open.

Great volunteer program that teaches people how to repair bikes. Also takes quality donated bikes and refurbishes them for asylum seekers!

The Bike Shed was a massive disappointment.Last month, I made an appointment for today the 29th of January at 11:00am. Stayed around until about 11:30am and yet, nobody showed up! Somebody could have at least called/emailed/texted me and say not to come/the bike shed was closed instead of having to go all the way to Newtown?!Massive letdown. Don’t bother.
