Don't ever use this business. Unprofessional staff, rude, unhelpful. Refuse to take accountability for in-warranty and faulty goods. They're experts at passing the buck. Likely in breach of Consumer Law, and display a complete disregard for the customer, particularly given matters of urgency where there's an inherent risk to the security of the customer's premises. Avoid them at all costs.

We have a TDA sliding gate opener in operation for just over 2 years. In that time, the opener goes from fast to slow, doesn't always fully open and on several occasions just stops and the remotes do not work. This is a real pain because the installers don't offer any guidance or warranty. I would prefer either a different opener or better service by providers.The gate suddenly stopped and it was discovered the power board had failed. Unfortunately this board had been made obsolete with no alternative. Thankfully through we located another board but the problem has just been postponed until the next failure.

The gate opener we purchase through Global House in Thailand works well but TDA company did not respond well to questions by email. When I asked by email about the 5 year warranty for the product, as stated on the website, and the warranty card that came with the product showing one (1) year they stated: We are NOT responsible and will NOT offer for any warranty claims

Not a recommended product. Sectional garage door opener malfunctions within a short 2 years.Have been opening the garage manually for the past 2 weeks. Extremely poor service for repairs / replacement! No urgency at all. Has been a waiting game for a week to get faulty unit replaced. Still not replaced. Customer service is 0 unfortunately. Understands it takes time to schedule technicians these days but at least give me an indication of availability. Expected to sit at home and wait? No calls, no updates. It’s amazing how customer service levels has gone to these days.

I have installed TDA swing and sliding gate motors on quite a few jobs over nearly two years since starting my business Eagle Fabrication and Welding, part of which involves fabricating custom gates. Have there been issues with these motors? Yes there has. But nothing drastic.David from TDA has always been fairly good at responding to calls and messages, even on weekends and holidays to try assist me with issues my clients may come across with their gate motors. All issues have been minor, and once fixed havent been an issue again.These motors are really simple to install, even if you arent in the field of installing gate motors, and someone who is semi-tech savvy like myself can work it out, and the 5 year warranty and cheaper costs than other brands of motors made on Italy has been a big selling point to my clients, as those motors usually have 2 years of less warranty periods and getting parts for these if issues occur can be timely.I plan to continue dealing with TDA for all my custom automated gate motors, and would recommend them to others
