The shrimp and calamari rings are great. The fish did have a strong fishy taste so it may be a cheaper type or not as fresh. The chips were soft and potato cakes are undercooked. It’s ok for takeout.

Hands down, the best oysters I've ever had. Delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly service. Will 100% come back again, my new favourite fish and chip restaurant.

Great Fish and Chips with excellent service would definitely recommend. I would say slightly overpriced but that's everywhere nowadays. I saw a breakfast price recently in a cafe over $25 because it had a confit tomato. Realistically, no breakfast should be over $15

We have come here several times before for take away and of all nights decided to sit in on Good Friday they were crazy busy and the wait times took longer than usual but to be honest, it wasn't that bad and we were happy to wait. The staff were smiling and helpful even under pressure. Great food and service and if you haven't tried it before, you need too!

Tried Anchor for the first time on Friday and loved their fish burger so much that I went back again on Monday to buy another. The fish burger was absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious. If you have ever eaten a Maccas (filet-o-fish) burger, after eating a fish burger from Anchor, you will never again buy a Maccas fish burger because by then, you will know that nothing will ever taste as good as the fish burger from Anchor. Anchor isnt cheap but I dont mind paying a little more because I know what I am getting is fresh and frankly, I havent eaten better elsewhere.

Try the grilled blue Grenadier, cooked to perfection in delicious and generous whole portions. There is sitting outside to eat your take away or plenty of dine in seating to enjoy your fish and chips. The premises are fresh, modern and new. Staff are friendly and efficient hosting a friendly smile.The order menu provides a good list of all those expected variety of fish and chip options including grilled and fried fish with plenty of chips.I will certainly be giving this venue my patronage regularly.
