Birkdale kebabs

Updated at top of review:October 2022: I decided to give it another go. The same health standards were an issue. When you go there watch to see if they actually get fresh gloves before making your food and see what other things they touch with those gloves whilst still handling your food. This was a different staff member to the one who served me in June. There were three other guys ordering food and waiting for their food in the store and when they heard me ask the guy for fresh gloves after he finished playing with the payment machine which was covered in greasy dirt and one of them said I agree but didn't say anything.It should also be noted that the below original review that I posted had the owner or manager ask for me to contact them directly with an email address which I did and never heard back from them. I think for clarity the next time I will actually video the experience and just focus on the food safety aspect.June 2022: The staff were sitting outside the back door in the alleyway/ car park. The one who was the first one to come and serve me had his plastic gloves on outside and I had to remind him to get a fresh pair before he made our kebabs. Throughout the process with the new gloves on he went out the back to get stuff from the fridge outside and also then on the way back in decided to check his phone and a few other things all while having the gloves still on and then went straight to rolling up our kebabs.Definitely would not pass a food safety course or audit.

This was once rated the top kebab shop in the Redlands when it first opened. It's gone down hill in the last 2 years. The shop if filthy, the outside of the shop is filthy. The customer service is next level. The salads on display don't look fresh... If you're there in the morning, expect last night's left overs to be cooked in the sandwich press and when they drop the tongs on the floor turn a blind eye and pretend staff didn't just replace them back up to freshly serve again.

You can't go wrong with Birkdale Kebabs.Much healthier option thank MacDonald's.

I used to love coming here for kebabs. The service has become very slow like no one wants to serve.Tonight was the last night, the young man was pleasant and helpful but the lady that was there stood around just staring while the customer line kept growing and she was completely rude

Has to be some of the best service and food I have eaten the staff are always friendly and have a smile on their faceThe food is some off the best around I am a regular customer and will be in to the future keep up the good work and grate food thanks guys

Hubby went down to pick up dinner he got home and had the completely wrong order!!So I tried to call the store 4 times and no answer. I’d highly recommend going elsewhere for your kebabs!!

Used door dash, my driver drover over 20 mins away from the delivery address and my food arrived cold because of this, as well as their dasher hanging up on me when i tried to call, i had a mixed kebab and this wasnt mixed, i paid extra for jalapenos and there was 1 on my kebab, there was also no sauce which was requested. Tried to complain through door dash and got a standard response to my query that they take no responsibility for orders or dashers.

2nd time I’ve called up and ordered…..same problem get there and they have not even take the order down but the bloke goes “oh yeah is that one with pineapple” so he remembered but couldn’t put in the effort too follow through with the order. Absolute disgrace literally just making a kebab…..couldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy it’s absolutely mind blowing especially when there’s no other orders going
