Slow and unorganised. Hired 2 men + a van to move a few large items from a storage container to an apartment. The removalists were very slow and unsure of how to start, stood around a lot to check their phones and just didn’t utilise time efficiently. They both spent over 15 minutes “loading” just a queen mattress into the van instead of one continuing to remove goods from the container whilst the other tied the mattress down.Very observant when pointing out already damaged furniture but very sneaky and coy when moving in furniture that they damaged during the move.The office staff were very helpful when I made an error with my booking though and their customer service was great.Have used the Van that Can with all my past moves but will strongly consider elsewhere for my next after this disappointing experience.

The guys had a pleasant upbeat attitude despite how annoying moving furniture is, and a really professional sense of how to get everything maneuvered.

Max and Dwayne from The Van That Can were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and their obvious experience in conducting furniture removals for stylists was invaluable. They were so respectful and particular in taking care of both the furniture and the property and their communication throughout was excellent, from asking questions to making suggestions and working in with other trades on site. What a couple of great fellas! Professional and friendly, the company communicated every step along the way, were careful and helpful. Definitely recommend this business to quickly respond, and affordably move what you need moved. They took particular care of my antique furniture piece and clearly appreciated that it meant a lot to me. Just lovely guys who did the job with a smile and a friendly manner. I needed to book a small apartment move for two week's time and decided on The Van That Can as I have used them before and they are one of the few companies offering reasonable rates for such moves. I phoned to book and pay the deposit today only to be told that the hourly rate was increasing despite the increased rate not being advertised on the website. The manager would not honour the current advertised rate and said they were in the process of updating the website. This is not good enough, Australian consumer law is very clear about advertised prices and I will not on principle use a business that disregards the law. This is a shame as the service offered by this business is a good one but as a business owner myself I comply with the law and expect the same from others. To lose a repeat customer over a few dollars and false advertising is a poor way to do business. I have given two stars to reflect the fact that my previous experience with this company was a good one.

On time, helpful and did a great job in the minimum time.

Thanks for providing the A Team! Lee and Mitch were amazing on move day and made it all so smooth and drama free. It was super easy to book online and Rita was so quick on response and helpful when I needed to make a move date change. We've used the Van that Can a few times now and they've always been punctual, pleasant, and respectful of our belongings.
