Palm Cove Deli
Palm Cove Supermarket & DeliVisited on 14/7/2022It does not cost anything to greet the customer g'day or spend much energy to give a smile, which is very universal whether one is of different nationality or race. The store us more a Deli because it sells things other thing food. One if mist important commodity is repellent. The shelves are well stocked, but prices of many items are a bit stiff.According to another shopkeepers, local business is not that bad around the area despite the lockdowns. So I presume the staff / owner may be overworked and too tired to smile.

Doors shut at 7.30pm when your google listing says you’re open until 8.00pm. I understand its a sleepy town, but just change the hours :)

Palm Cove Deli
So expensive $9 for a litre of milk and two bananas! No visible prices on items and you expect a little mark-up in a deli but not an extra 150% would be cheaper to eat out than rely on this place for groceries

Palm Cove Deli
Very pleasant little place with one on one service.Stock is fresh and tasty, handy for munchies or impromptu picnic etc.The prices are a few cents more expensive(not a great deal though) but for the convenience ,I am more than happy to avoid large generic supermarkets.Very pleasant lady behind the counter.Thankyou.

Palm Cove Deli
We visit Palm Cove each year and have always found the owner at the deli to be pleasant and helpful. We always do a major shop at Coles which is a short drive away from Palm Cove and during our stay we top up with items from the Palm Cove deli which is upstairs in the Palm Cove Village zone. The Palm Cove deli prices are of course more expensive than Coles but that to be is expected for the convenience of visiting a deli within a very short walking distance to get milk, fresh bread, the paper and access a range of grocery and fresh fruit items. The only criticism is that he does not open all that early - generally around 9am.

Palm Cove Deli
The store owner charged me $25.00 for m&ms, a kit kat and a bottle of water. Didn’t realize for a few days when I checked my statement as I didn't get a receipt. Went in to ask why there was a discrepancy and he shrugged it off with a smirk. Just because I’m a backpacker doesn’t mean I should be overcharged on an already exorbitantly priced product. If I could gove 0 stars I would

Very rude, the Asian-looking shopkeeper. The only supernarket in town, so he has a monopoly and doesn't care.

Palm Cove Deli
It was handy to have a small supermarket walking distance from our Resort for small items we needed. Lovely owner and good selection of groceries, but extremely expensive. Best to shop for main groceries at Coles in Clifton Beach.
