I paid for a wheel balance and had to take my ute back because the balance wasn’t even done.They put my new rims and tyres on and hadn’t even driving 100k and my 2 back tyres almost fell off driving along the highway.

Excellent service from Bill at Cooloola Tyre and Mechanical . Car went into Limp mode and Bill came promptly to the scene, some 40 klms and took the damaged part out and went back to the workshop and cleaned off all the carbon build up. Bill returned some hours later and fitted part back, and saved $1000's of dollars. Most mechanics would just order new parts and not try to fix it. Bill's price was very reasonable considering he travelled almost 160 klms that day to do the job. In my opinion Bill went above and beyond his normal duties and I have no hesitation in recommending Cooloola Tyre and Mechanical to anyone for mechanical services.

If you're looking for parts for your car. I'd suggest you will find it quicker and cheaper to walk to Townsville and and dack as I've been waiting for handbrake adjustments for over tw months

Had a front diff replacement in landcruiser and whole front end overhaul complete with wheel alignment and at reasonable cost. Very satisfied with the repairs and now made this my go to for all mechanicals. Helpful and friendly service.

I went in to get a tyre repaired and was told by a polite employee that I'd need a new tyre as the screw was near the side wall so unrepairable, so all good I was going to purchase a new tyre from them. Then some clown who I imagine was the owner started yelling from the office front door that I was parked in the wrong place, it was the first time I'd been there so had no idea where I was supposed to park as the place has two differing sheds on the property. The fool was rude and uncouth and didn't have my required tyre anyway, so I walked out and went to Gympie where I was sorted with a new tyre fitted and balanced within 15 minutes at a very reasonable price. My suggestion is to give this so-called business, and it's despicable owner a wide berth and head to Gympie for your mechanical requirements. I know I'll never set foot in the place again!!

Had used their services to install a number of front end parts. They charged handsomely netting a nice profit. I then had a set of upper control arms installed. The then owner who installed the ball joints did so in a manner that the ball joints boots got ripped. ( cost of labor $400 + GST) When i asked for them to be replaced they refused ( i supplied the parts). When i inquired again, i was told they would get back to me, ( that was early December 2021), when i inquired in person before Xmas, i was asked for my number, and again, promised they would call soon"to address the issue. It is now 19 Jan 2022 and still no call. The damaged that was caused by their installation has not been addressed. I will not be using any of their services again- The wheel alignment that was charged at $200 took 3 returns to get correct. Disappointing as the workers there are good people

Since Mexican new owners taken over no good.I put my car in for simple exhaust rubber replacement. It's still rattling after getting fixed now will have to climb under and fix it myself 67yrs old there rip-offs. Also they tried to Charge $176.00 for 20mins work .

I had a very expensive logbook service at this mechanic.I took my brand new Subaru Outback to Wayne (the owner) for its first logbook service. It ended up costing $533.59. Although it was a new car, the air and cabin filters were changed. I was also charged for freight.It would have cost $350 at Subaru dealership under capped price servicing (this was mentioned at the time of payment).
