Great private cabins with cosy wood fire in each. Very quiet location. Close but not too close to restaurant and bar of microbrewery. You are given a breakfast box with fresh locally made muesli, local breads, juice, coffee and jams. Nice touches!

Loved staying here. Room was cosy and clean. Great shower. Best thing was that it was so quiet! Needs a curtain on the door though for people like me who are sensitive to light when sleeping. We really enjoyed the restaurant and bar, loved tast-testing the beers!

Recently stayed at the Granite Belt retreat. Perfect location to escape a busy lifestyle. Cabins are beautifully located for privacy. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Their three course dinner menu was delicious. Worth a visit.

Cabins are simple, buffets offered on Sunday for Saturday guests, otherwise a homemade food basket is given for breakfasts. Brewery is wonderful, and you can ask for bird feed and feed the ducks at their duck pond. Just be careful, you may want to download Google maps offline due to poor reception/connectivity, places here are dog friendly.

Awesome place. The bbq wings, platter and coffee beer were amazing. Service was excellent and very friendly. Will definitely go back and extremely happy to recommend this place to everyone.

The cabins are a bit dated. Unfortunately the fan's almost the first thing you see & it was dusty & had cobwebs. The lights leading to the restaurant were the same which let's the place down. But otherwise the cabins were clean & everything had been thought of, even down to an electric blanket. The staff were excellent, & although we didn't eat at the restaurant the tasting paddles were fun & the deck bar was a lovely spot. The breakfast box is a nice touch. The shower was fantastic.

We loved the peace and quiet. Its such a great place to rest and refresh. The outdoor areas are great for little children, except for prickly caterpillar's, we were fine. The service was wonderful, happy helpful staff. The menu at the restaurant was great but next time we will be after the prepared frozen meals, cooked by the chef. Breakfast was healthy and fun.

We only stayed one night - but it was so nice. The cabin was tucked away in bush setting. Walk to the restaurant - what amazing food. Didn't meet the chef, but I must say Wow

We had one night at Granite Belt Retreat, which we chose specifically for being able to take our dog with us. It did not disappoint. We stayed in one of the suites, which had a small enclosed yard. (Some of the cabins allow pets also, please confirm with the venue if required). The interior was clean and cosy, a little dated but not shabby or worn out. Be aware there is no exhaust fan or window in the bathroom (in this suite, at least), so the mirror may get fogged up when you take a shower. Although the suites are not as separate from the main areas as the cabins, we had no problems with noise and it felt very private. The staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately we weren't able to visit the restaurant or brewery during this stay but we hope to return at another time. Stanthorpe town centre is only a short drive away but the location of the Retreat feels very secluded. Mobile phone reception is not consistent, so take advantage of the peace and quiet. Light pollution is low at night and our back patio was wonderful for viewing the night sky. The drive from the Brisbane area is easy and doesn't take long. There are plenty of things to see and do around Stanthorpe, and several of those are dog friendly as well.
