George is such a fun and passionate teacher. We learned about pottery, had fun, he took our photos and we made something to take home. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday celebration! Great value at the moment with the Groupon deal.

Very good teaching skill guiding you from start to finish explaining in details, but I was late due to no car parking in the surrounding. The environment is very relaxing and the teacher also incorporate humors while teaching. Worth the pay!

Me and my partner bought at groupon, a pottery class. It was so much fun! George is the best! so good, direct and patient with us. great experince! Cant wait to go back

My daughter has been learning art class in Tomato Art for more than 2 years. George is an excellent art teacher, he is patient and always can raise the kids interest and make them concentrate for 1hr practise(not easy for a young age kid).My daughter always look forward each week's art class! Highly recommend this studio to parents!

I had a great time with my kids at Tomoto Art,we made our unique bowls and plates. George was very friendly and professional in the class. We learned a lot while playing. I highly recommend it to all.You would not regret!

We came as a group of five including an 8 yr old kid, all enjoyed the class very well. The lecture was fun and I could tell that George has this passion towards clay and pottery making. Fair price (Groupon voucher), extra patience on the kid, great experience. Looking forward to picking up our masterpieces after 4 weeks.

Had a fantastic experience with George - he is funny, helpful and very good at what he does. The class was informative, engaging and we would definitely recommend it to beginners!

The experience was ok. Small class with proper machine and clay. Was fun playing with the clay. The instructor was helpful in a way to fix what we messed up. However, when we picked up the bowls, both mine and my friend’s 3 bowl/cups are cracked from the bottom. It could’ve been better if these important things were pointed out during the class.

Did my pottery class yesterday. George is a hilarious and engaging teacher, whose class is equal parts informative and instructive. This may potentially leave less time for the “doing part” but George makes up for that by fixing your work and making sure it’s finished by the end. You have the option of purchasing additional classes to colour your work or purchase a glazing finish. The room has all the resources you need like a sink on hand, but remember your stuff like your bag will be stored on the ground and your knees will get dirty due to how you sit around the wheel.

As a teacher, I think George is great at teaching, provides more instructions and guidance than other ceramic schools, but his English sometimes is hard to follow and I couldn't understand what I needed to do at each step.Otherwise, the demand for his classes are very high the studio space is barely enough to fit everyone and also a more generous space for storing these precious artworks would be much appreciated.
