Port on a Plate
We had a great day out in FNQ with Pete. We started the day at a local farm where we quenched our thirst with some delicious sugar cane juice, exotic fruits and visted the farm shop where we purchased some chorizo and some produce for lunch. Next stop was barramundi farm. Luckily the staff could tell I was not a skilled fisherman and hooked a barramundi for me to reel in! We also enjoyed a starter of barramundi sashimi which was delicious. We finished off with a three course lunch at a local winery where we also sampled some tropical fruit wines. We enjoyed a feast of barramundi ceviche and BBQ barramundi before finishing off with some locally sourced gelato. Pete is clearly very passionate about what he does, knowledgeable about the local area and a talented chef. He is also very personable and willing to have a chat about anything and everything. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys good food and after a great day out with a passionate and genuine host. Port on a Plate
Port on a Plate is a shining highlight of our holiday to Port Douglas. Pete is so passionate about this area, the fish he cooks and the produce he uses grown by the locals. His food was next level yummy.Also enjoyed Pete's banter and amusing anecdotes. A great day out.

Port on a Plate
An amazing experience with a knowledgeable and talented chef. We had a lovely day with Peter getting to know the local area and some of the foods its known for. Peter is knowledgeable about the region, friendly and a great story teller. The 1/2 day adventure couldn’t be more perfect. Absolutely worth some time when visiting around Port Douglas.

Just back from a great small group,half day tour. Usually the tour caters to a Max of 8 people but we were lucky to be the only ones.Port on a plate" is definitely a tour for the foodies or people looking for a unique tour showcasing local and sustainable. We stopped in at scomazzons farm stall

Excellent foodie tour. Peter, the host is a wonderful chef. We visited a local farm, a barramundi farm and a fruit winery.We were served a 4 course taste sensation prepared by Peter,using locally sourced ingredients. Great knowledge about the area and produce. Excellent value. Highly recommend to anyone interested in food.

We had an awesome day with Pete. He is so informative about what goes on around Port Douglas. He also cooks the food himself and wow what can I say absolutely gorgeous food. Really really recommend.

Port on a Plate
Pete gave a passionate and genuine tour of Mossman and the surrounding regions.He cooked beautiful fresh fish and every detail of the tour was done with his heart but also the experience of a professional who knows the areas better than anyone.A great guy that made us a laugh and by the end of the day you can call a mate.thanks buddy
