Barbeques Galore Woolloongabba

I have been shopping at this store for about 20 years. I have bought a few BBQ's, many parts, accessories, furniture and even a Big Green Egg. While I find the store's range is good and priced well, I do believe that the customer service needs to improve. That is not to say that everyone I have dealt with was bad, in fact I have had a few people that have been very helpful, but in general, it’s sometimes hard to get help when you walk in.

Wow, this Barbeque Galore Store really needs to learn better customer service. I arrive a full 30 minutes before closing to get my 4kg BBQGalore brand gas bottle refilled to be told they had shut the refill service down already! I wasted a trip into woolloongabba and now don’t have gas for dinner.Do yourselves a favour and don’t by their brand of gas bottle because it’s painfully inconvenient. Buy a Swap ‘N’ go bottle instead where you can replace it at any 24hr servo!

We didn't realise the very helpful weekend staff member had accidentally excluded an agreed item when we purchased a bunch of things. When we contacted the store, Eric (manager?) immediately resolved the oversight and gave an extremely professional and obliging response. Both staff were helpful and obliging and we were impressed with the team despite the oversight because it was resolved so well. They deserve a positive review for that alone.

Great spot to pick up a outdoor fire pit and a frame that suspends a a cook plate.

wow what a way to turn down someone who's after a weber brand equipment with an immediate response of 'sorry cant help you' had to actually ask where i could find a store that could help.Maybe if Barbecues galore specified on google that they DO NOT SELL Weber brand would make the search easier. Please do yourselves a favour and take you google advertisement seriously!!!!

Bought a barbecue off the floor (last one) and when I asked if there was lid, yes (last one) and matched the barbecue. BBQ charged about $37 more for the lid. Sell the whole unit at a price...don't add on Barbecues Galore. Shame.Complained and assistant manager Tim told me I should have read the instructions and who is the person that sold it to me. Come on Tim the persons name should be on the sales docket.Instructions are still in a box at the store as the floor stock item was loaded by staff into my car.Never going back there. Bought this barbecue for a holiday rental at Straddie and the fist tenant to use it complained the T bones were black. Black paint from the barbecue is still coming off. Tim suggests I turn up the barbecue and use a wire brush. These people have lost the plot. Tim you are about to join the a line of managers who do not work there.

I usually find the staff great, but DO NOT let them try and convince you to use their delivery guys. I had to pay way too much to get 1 large box delivered in the same suburb ($70) about five blocks away. If I had known how much it would cost, I would have made alternative arrangements while at the shop. Was given very little choice at the shop at the time.

We have been coming here for years as the service is always spot on. We went in for a simple gas bottle refill and came out with a recipe for Roast Corned Beef, which was delicious!Jess was very quick to serve us when we arrived in store, then let us know when our bottle was ready. As we were paying for the gas Jess was asking us how we used our BBQ, then the conversation turned to recipes .So refreshing to get great customer service without the 'sales' push, thank you, we will be back!

Jack was very helpful and knowledgeable. He didn’t have the part we needed, so he tracked down where we could get it. Thank you!

I picked up a new smoker here at the weekend. The staff were super helpful and worked up a good deal for me.
