Graeme is the best staff ever. He is the master of painting. I and my partner had no idea what kind of products we need, he advised us all the steps kindly. Also we were looking for big size of paint but he advised us right size. We really appreciated his kind and help.

BIG STORE! You'll need your running (or comfy) shoes as you will want to explore the 2 extremities. Trade one end, Nursery & outdoor the other end. I saw plenty of staff (chatting as they were re-stocking) , but there were also many spots of missing product on the shelves.This could be due to supply shortage, but I had to help myself to product on the top shelf where the boxes had not been broken down and put on display. It could be staff shortage, or even the end of year rush could be to blame. Whatever the cause, management had no fix in place...My exit was also unusual. I use the app and pay before I exit, but the person at the end seemed more interested in watching the carpark, and not attending to the paying (or in my case - paid!) customer.I still like Bunnings. I will go back. I hope in the new year, I have a better experience.

Pretty typical Bunnings, well stocked on most things. Staff at key counter and rental counter are helpful though seems understaffed. Often find I have to chase down staff for help.

Oh man, there’s nothing sexier than someone who knows their stuff. Here at Bunnings Oakleigh, you might not find a single soul to help you since they’re all very busy dealing with that lady who asks millions questions about her kitchen renovation. But hey, when you find one, they will find things for you like the massive shop is their own toy box. I’d totally recommend that older lady at the indoor plant section. She’s the oracle in the matrix disguised in apron with a water sprinkler in hand. May she guide you to all the little gadgets you need to fix all the little things in your house.

Staff is helping another customer with their pluming questions, fair enough.We ask staff member if they’ve got a quick minute when they’re clearly not actively chatting to the customer and just on their phone, was brushed off with ‘I’m still with this guy’.Alright. We stood right there and waited for another 15mins, then a third guy comes along and the staff member is now suddenly perfectly happy to help them with their extensive question, and still not us.We felt ignored the entire time. Standing around in the aisles for 20mins to feel belittled and not even a single glance of eye contact from him.Do staff here just have a hierarchy of ‘preferred customers’ and if you don’t fit the demographic you get overlooked?Very poor experience.

They will have to train the cashier staff about the payment methods that are valid in the store.On Friday 24/3 I done a purchase in the store and I went to pay at the cashier of the garden, asked to pay with Afterpay and the lady at the cashier refused saying that this method of payment is not valid in the store. After an hour I rang the customer service and the lady told me this method of payment is available in the store.

Shocking product quality control by the staff. I purchased the Marquee Silver Solid Folding Sun Lounge online and picked up via drive and collect. Firstly the phone number at the parking bay does not work (tried on two mobile phones) so I had to go to the entrance and give them my order number at the front before returning to the pick up bay to wait in my vehicle. Defeats the purpose of drive and collect.I did not inspect the product as it was loaded directly into my boot, trusting that it would be a new item in the condition that you would expect. As soon as I got home, I noticed that the material is completely ripped. I have not even bothered to unfold it and will be returning it tomorrow. I can’t understand how the staff who packaged it for collection didn’t notice the damage. Absolute waste of money and time spent driving back and forth.

Inconsistent security regarding holding a trade pass and not accommodating to elder people who are confused as to why they need physical cards - but I still love bunnings. Also I spent $600 and they still asked to check my bag on the way out, and the girl near the door asked me/like confirmed with me that *name* had checked my bag - like yes, she did, but if I was stealing something after spending $600, I wouldn’t be saying no pls check my bag so you can find my loot ??? Silly
