Recoverie Coogee

I provided this feedback over the phone to the manager as well. I brought my husband and his friend in for the first time. They had paid to use sauna however as they wandered outside they noticed the cold pool plunge and thought that they were allowed to use it as part of the payment they made initially. The girl from reception came over and completely embarrassed them in front of all the customers, To the point where one of the customers came up to me and said that was out of order. There is a way to deliver this message and they could’ve just said hey guys glad you found the plunge pool and you’re enjoying it, however there is an additional cost involved to use this facility but happy for you to pay for this on your way out rather than yelling at them in front of everyone. She made them feel like they were being interrogated and that they were trying to take advantage of the facility when really it was their first time and they knew no matter. Personally, I think that’s humiliating and for other customers to validate their behaviour is a really poor reflection on the business.

I used to love this place but recently they’ve shortened the infrared sauna sessions to 30 mins. I was told I need to book a double session now to stay in for 50 mins, which is how long the sessions used to be when they first opened. A 30 min session in an infrared sauna is a bit pointless - they’re meant to be longer than a standard sauna session given they are not as hot. It’s a shame they’re trying to squeeze more sessions in as I used to really love this place. Also the changing rooms are smelling increasingly grim.

The facilities are gold standard that I've experienced in a professional sport recovery centre! The staff are so helpful and friendly too. It's a really friendly and safe environment

AMAZING!!!! I LOVED IT. The cold and hot pools were a great experience. I will go back and review the other services. As I am on the introductory offer pass which is great value for money.

Absolutely love the space. The ability to walk in broken after either a hard week training, or a long week of work, and after 45mins walk out brand new is amazing.The environment and community feel all build not only a physicality rejuvenation, but also allow a mental health break/refresh.Cannot recommend highly enough.

Paid for 10 sessions in a 10 pack, used 6 and had 4 remaining. Rang up because the booking app wouldn't let me book a session, and the chick was like nah nothing I can do

Terribly managed , one of only 4 services they provide ( cold + hot plunge pools ) never open ! Always closed !! “ getting repaired “ “ still waiting to get repaired “ over a 4 week period it’s been open 4 or 5 times

As someone who is into health and fitness I think this place is a great way to relax and recover.It’s helped my performance & injuries.Would usually highly recommended as great place; with friendly & helpful staff - until today.Today i’m annoyed and it comes with a warning to move between sessions quickly. I took my time had a shower, fetched water from the slowest water filter, changed between normetic technology sanitising each time & I got billed for an additional session with no warning. Highly disappointed.The last thing I want when I’m chilling is to be stressed about what I might be billed.
