I purchased a home from Trendsetter in November out in Nollamara, and that's where all my troubles began. The selling agent was useless and failed to communicate the property had not been connected to the Telstra pit so a phone line was unavailable at the residence. After communicating this with the developer and trendsetter they failed to contact telstra to perform the required works for 6 MONTHS. No internet for 6 months is like a god damn life jail sentence and $300 in data charges. The washing machine they installed is not worth $50, its legit adds more dirt then it takes away. Where they mounted the aircon is in a terrible spot and for some reason they could do it ducted so it reached the whole house. Kitchen layout was poorly thought out. Do not recommend purchasing one of their units. Robert Allum you are genuinely the worst human ive ever encountered.

From the first moment the process started right through to project completion, we have been impressed with Trendsetter Homes professionalism and quality of work. We were engaged throughout the building process by regular communication.We can't praise Michael Agostino and his great team enough for making the journey as drama-free as possible. Michael’s experience, knowledge and attention to detail are outstanding. Louie, the sharp-eyed supervisor was very helpful and would go the extra mile in making sure the build went smoothly and correctly.We could track the progress of the build by using the client portal as pictures of the stages were uploaded onto the portal together with all necessary construction documents. The final product looks amazing.We are very pleased with the new house

We began dealing with trendsetter homes back in September 2020 on the design of our new home in yokine. The team have been great to deal in guiding us on our journey to our concept plans to the final plans.We look forward to the demolition of our existing home and commencing the construction of our new home this year.

On recommendation by friends, we used Trendsetters to construct our two story rear addition (onto a Federation era cottage) with handover in August 2021, and we would happily recommend them to others.The whole process was detail oriented, professional and tailored to our demands, and we felt we were dealt with in a transparent manner both during pre-start and throughout the buildThere was the odd occasion we felt things may have been heading off track, however a quick call or meeting with Michael Agostino (MD) soon got everyone back on the same page.Most importantly we were rapt with the end product, and we are proud of the amount of compliments we have received since getting the keys.

Really good experience with Trendsetter Homes! High recommend.From design with Anthony, he was amazing and hit all of our needs and provided a really good layout that worked well for us.Construction, the site team were very professional and built the house in as what was agreed considering the times we are in with Covid this was a great outcome.There was open communication throughout the build which made the build a lot easier.Michael the owner was also extremely accommodating and helpful throughout.

Pre-Construction phase of a new builtThis review is based on our (my wife and I) Pre-Construction experience only, as we have recently received our building permit, and site works will be starting soon.Choosing a registered quality custom builder is no easy task, as it depends on the contractors they use on the project, the site supervisor, design and the company core values.Trendsetter Homes was chosen among others through a tendering process in October 2018, for their quality build and service, experience in building customised homes and more importantly their commitment to core values of integrity, concern and respect for clients.Since the day we signed the PPA, the preparation works for Engineer site report, Working drawings, Engineering drawings etc have all been completed on schedule. Through a series of meetings, working with their Interior Architect on Pre-Start and finalising the Addenda in preparation of Building Contract signing; the experience was smooth and accommodating.The Managing Director, Michael Agostino is a “hands-on” leader who is patient, responsible and more essentially “client focused”; committed to meet the needs of his clients. Throughout the Pre-Construction phase, they gave insightful advice and did well in listening to what we wanted. They guided us through every step of the way and make an overwhelming process stress free.Despite Michael’s busy schedule, he is never late for meetings, (would call promptly to shift the time of a meeting when his current one ran overtime) and is responsive in replying emails and texts. This core value; “commitment to meeting his clients’ needs”, was evidently demonstrated when he attended to my email relating to an urgent problem with our building plans, while he was still on holiday in early January 2019. His prompt response detailing the steps on handling the problem was impressive. Upon his return, he recalled the Senior Building Designer who was on company block leave, to address the problem urgently; really put us at ease.Although the problem was from an external source outside his company to begin with, nevertheless, he took upon himself, the responsibility to help us throughout the entire journey in getting the building permit. Together with his Senior Building Designer, they were consistent and prompt in responding to all the local council’s requirements which is commendable. It was their relentless effort to resolve the matter that led the building permit being granted at an earlier date, thus averting much stress associated with unplanned delays.In these past 4 months, we observed that each staff knows their respective role well and works seamlessly as an effective and efficient team like a big family.We, now look forward to work with the Site Supervisor in the next 12 months of the Construction phase, with quiet confidence that issues would be resolved professionally and promptly if and when they arise, having had a delightful experience in the Pre-Construction phase.

Unprofessional and never return calls or emails, still waiting on a response in relation to a number of issues that were raised in 2019 after a third party inspection report was conducted. We will be submitting a formal complaint to the building commission in order to get a response and the items fixed as no one bothers to respond.In reply to your response below, I have spoken to your reception on numerous occasions asking for Mario the builder to follow up on our requests along with countless emails that never got a response. So I don't see how we would not be in the system.

Personally I will not recommend anyone to buy a home from this builder at all. The quality is low and you will have to start replacing defective items from the first year of purchase. From the reviews below, it seems like I'm not alone. It will take alot of effort to request them to follow up on defects and maintenance. The final outcome will be it is not their responsibility. Please also check the builder of the homes that you are buying from and not just the owner/developer. They are in fact from the same family.

I've had a on going issue the last 9yrs, emailed, called no response back. Its a leak that keeps coming back and they don't know how to fix it.
