After 3 mechanics failed to diagnose and rectify some engine issues, Max was able to diagnose the steering and suspension issues in less than a day, and order the correct parts for repair. Havent had an issue since. M Carter Auto now is the preferred mechanic for all my vehicles, from 4wds to Luxury European vehicles. Max has extensive experience and a fantastic moral and work ethic. You wont ever regret going to M Carter Auto!

Max was great he answered my questions over the phone before booking and then made time available to fit our schedule for both cars needing a service our VW Tiguan and 200 Series Landcruiser. Our regular mechanic for the last few years was booked out for weeks in advance and I wasn’t overly impressed with the last few times they serviced the cars. Max on the other hand went over and above checking both cars thoroughly explained what was needed beyond the required service for each car using genuine parts. His knowledge of both European cars and 4wd’s is fantastic he diagnosed an injector issue on my 200 Series Landcruiser that my last mechanic said there was no issue with. We will now be using Max at M.Carter Automotive for all our future servicing and repairs.

Max Carter is a revelation I found. Extremely attentive and skilful in all facets of mechanics, fabrication and diagnostics. He found an issue with my engine previous mechanics looked over. I certainly felt lucky to come across Max after he fixed everything with my vehicle that needed attention due to an engineering report in very quick time and at a reasonable cost too. I will definitely see Max again as he is a true gentleman as well as being a great operator.

Booked my car in for service & Max & Howie were fantastic not only serviced the car they found &fixed the slow leak in my tyre from a nail & were also able to fix the cv boot which had split whilst it was there.
