Mum didn't want money wasted on a funeral, so this was her choice, but have to say there is more to value" than just price. Firstly they suggested we book pick up for a few hours so we could stay with mum for an hour or two and say goodbye. Then 5 mins later they wanted to take her body immediately as it might suit their driver better

Never having to coordinate the funeral affairs of anyone in the past, I was both confused by the process, and concerned that perhaps a provider would seek to capitalise upon this.I did consider Bare cremations, as I'm a fan of the startup community in general, but when I discovered that Value Cremations, part of a much larger funeral group, could match the same service at the same price, it was a no brainer, simply because they've accumulated the expertise, the contacts and the infrastructure to make a highly distressing experience just that bit more comfortable.It's fair to say that my circumstances have been a little more protracted than the usual, but I've been kept fully informed at every stage in the process.I was ably helped throughout the entire process by Lyn from VC. She's a wonderful person and has been so patient, accommodating and helpful throughout.I couldn't recommend VC or Lyn more highly. Whilst I hope nobody else goes through this... everybody will...so consider strongly getting Value Cremations to help you through it.
