I have stayed here three times over the yrs & quite like the facility(but for/on this occasion disappointingly, room airconditioning system was/is faulty not fit for purpose during cold temperatures).Has many screens for a wide range of choices to view your sports preferences.Wide range of beer taps with a very modern fresh look.Staff usually quite pleasant helpful(but for X02, being angered by my partners stern initiative to bring the faulty room aircon issue to their attention).Said staff disputing disregarding her conveyance of aircon issue,- saying aircons have recently being serviced, We are Not technicians. Yet they went & played around with the aircon remote control for NO positive result at all.

Rooms are great value for money. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere. The bistro is the jewel in the crown with superb meals.

Dropped in for a cold beer and lunch .Have to say I was pleasantly surprised with my meal . I got the salmon which was delicious, well presented and arrived quickly.You can't ask for more than that .My mates said their burgers were very good also .

Perfect location. Quiet room. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Yummy cooked breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay and will be back.

Had lunch with my wife, bit expensive for lunch meals, whilst eating our lunch in the bistro management and local butcher (sales meeting) were talking about sales, how the kill thier meat, hanging to blood etc loudly not caring about partons.... We both felt physically sick and couldn't finish our meals, to say an unpleasant experience at the least.

Incredible food.Had the Parmi and the Steak. Could not be happier with the food and service.My tastebuds are giving a standing ovation. Could actually eat myself into a coma. Thanks Knickerbocker for the first good feed on this our road trip.

Bad start, having negotiated a tariff of $95 per night on the phone only to be charged $125. Room basic but okay. Breakfast nice with pleasant wait staff. Returned to hotel at approx 8.30pm for a drink and informed hotel closed at 9.00pm. Perfectly fine. Second drink requested at 8.50pm was refused,the tills had been counted! The advertised closing time was 12.00pm. Very curt staff,we will not be going back.

Staff were lovely to me. Outside beer garden was so nice. Pool table outside as well as water misters so you feel cool and fresh like veggies at the supermarket

Haven't been here for a while but went tonight for dinner. Some update to the premises are looking good! Service is first rate. Really friendly staff. The food was amazing! Really recommend a visit for dinner. Prices are very reasonable. The prawn linguine was perfect and the perfect size serving! Well definitely be back more often!
