Sleepy Hollow Rest Area (southbound)
Public rest area directly off the Pacific Highway. Toilet facilities, covered picnic style tables and bench seats. There is a small children's playground as well as historical interpretive boards. Plenty of parking adjacent, can be busy during holidays.

A slightly older small rest stop with clean unisex flush toilets and children’s park available 24/7.On some days you can find coffee and a toastie for $8

There should be partial sound barrier in place for the hard working truck drivers and weary travellers! Those toilets should be cleaned at least twice daily!

Clean fixed toilets with 4 porta loos as well. Grass well maintained. Lots of parking. Tables under cover. Really good place to stop.

Public place with park area, toilet facilities, playground, picnic table.This Rest Area is located 22km South of Chindera on the Pacific Highway.This Rest Area is for the use of light vehicles and heavy trucks; campers should be aware of not occupying or blocking access to the truck area and allow for access by very long vehicles where appropriate; this applies during all times of day or night.

Nice little shaded rest spot maybe 15 to 20 minutes south of Queensland border, toilet facilities with wheel chair accessibility, play ground, picnic table, plenty of shady trees.Good spot to stop before traveling south.

Sleepy Hollow Rest Area (southbound)
This rest stop has three covered eating tables, three restrooms and a playground for children.Ten car parking spaces including a handicapped parking space are provided. Access for wheelchairs is available, including to the restrooms.There is sufficient space for three car+trailer combinations OR two car+caravan combinations.There is also provision for up to five B-Double truck combinations.There are ample bins available throughout the rest area.Cheers and enjoyBrent
